Groceries and a doctor are 3 km away. Altitude 670 meters. Hiking trails on site. Ski resort 17 km away in Gérardmer (La Mauselaine) or Le Valtin. Firewood is provided by the owner for use in the wood-burning stove. Detached house. Ground floor and first floor: 3 bedrooms (3 double beds, 1 cot). Dining room open to the kitchen and living area with a wood-burning stove (firewood provided). Shower room. Toilet. Lean-to (ski storage). 39 m² terrace with garden furniture and charcoal barbecue. Unfenced grounds. Utilities not included, electric heating (meter reading on arrival and departure, beyond the 8 kWh included per day). Wi-Fi. Bed linen is provided with beds made up for arrival. Maximum two pets allowed with a supplement of €25 per pet. For babies: crib, playpen, and high chair. Nearby: Manacha Kart go-kart track in Gerbépal (6 km). Confiserie des Hautes-Vosges (sweets shop) in Plainfaing (10 km). TGV train station in Saint-Dié-des-Vosges (14 km). The cottage is decorated every year for Christmas. Alsace, with its Christmas markets and wine villages like Kaysersberg and Riquewihr, is less than an hour away via the Col du Bonhomme pass. When arriving at the Anould roundabout on the D415 or D8, take the Fraize exit. Leave the Total gas station on your right and continue for 200 meters before turning right towards the campsite. After 100 meters, turn left onto Rue Jeanne d'Arc. Begin your ascent to the cottage. After a 2.5 km climb, turn left onto Rue Alfred Nobel and continue past a hairpin bend. 50 meters past the bend, turn left onto a small path (Route des Tétras), continue straight ahead for 30 meters. The entrance to the gîte is on your left. After 2.5 km of ascent, turn left into rue Alfred Nobel and take a horseshoe bend. 50 meters after coming out of the bend, take a small path on your left (Route des Tétras), continue straight ahead and go 30 meters. L'environnement forestier est très beau, malheureusement la neige a disparu le premier jour et la pluie l'a remplacée. Monsieur Kropp, le propriétaire n'y est pour rien, c'est juste pas de chance. Je ne mets pas 5 sur 5 à cause de l'absence d'insonorisation du gîte. Tous les bruits sont transmis entre le rez-de-chaussée et le 1er étage. ##### Isabelle F.
