But for a stranger appearing and showing us a ‘cheat’ way through the street door we’d have been urgently looking for alternative accommodation late at night with 4 children after a 14 hour drive. It is possible that i somehow missed the instruction on how to get through the street door - but that is why it is crucial that there is some means of communication (telephone number) - to sort out such issues. I tried messaging the owner to no avail and the booking agent was closed. In the end it all worked out, but it could have been a bit of a disaster. ##### Charles C.
