All of the comforts of home in this tastefully designed 4-bedroom 3-bath ground floor cottage, nestled at the corner of Alamanda and North Bay Boulevard. The home's backyard oasis is sure to be your favorite place to relax. The patio extends the length of the yard, with areas to grill, picnic, and lounge in the sun or under umbrellas. Take a refreshing swim in your heated pool, Inside you'll find amenities that will make your vacation a breeze, including a fully equipped kitchen and adjoining dining area with a table that seats 8, perfect for gathering together to share your vacation plans, play games, and enjoy special moments. Sleep in comfort in a king, 2 queen beds, and a bunk bed with twin on top, double on bottom and a twin trundle. The Primary suite has a walk-in shower and 2 sinks as well as an outdoor exit. A block to the famous Bean Point Beach and close to the Bay side park and beach, Island exploration will give you seven miles of uninterrupted beaches, with limitless silky sand and pristine waters. Bring along a camera to capture the most breathtaking sunsets you've ever seen. If you're an early riser, you can catch the sunrise over the Tampa Bay Bridge from the Pier. Take a Trolley to shops or restaurants - it's free and runs from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. A NOTE ABOUT POOL HEAT: If you book online, your reservation will automatically populate with a pool heat charge for one week. If your reservation is for a longer period, someone on our staff will adjust the pool heat rate to reflect the longer stay. We recommend pool heat at this property, regardless of the time of year, as pools near shady trees stay cooler, even in the summer. \*PET OWNERS: This property is dog friendly with restrictions and a non-refundable pet fee of $150 per dog for the first week. Our trip started years ago with just myself and sister. Gradually we added daughters, nieces daughter in law and niece in law. We are up to 8 most years, sometimes just 7 of us. Every year we pick the next destination. We are all so glad we chose this one this year. In fact several mentioned that they would do this trip again some year. Same place. The pool was such an added bonus. We could walk to the beach, walk to the pier, or just relax by the pool. We loved it! And Kate was a real pleasure to deal with. We loved the location to Bean point and the backyard was amazing. The things we didn’t love was the cleanliness of the property. The kitchen’s wood flooring was buckled and big gaps that was not friendly to the kids toes and when going to use the coffee pot, I had to clean the pot of the coffee left in it. The bathroom tub was visibly dirty and the sheets in one bedroom did not fit. For the amount you pay and a cleaning fee I would have hoped to walk into a nicer place. ##### Megan W. Just a block from the Rod & Reel Pier, walking distance to City Pier and shopping-and of course the beach! The home is cute, older place, grandfathered I'm sure. Nice kitchen and bedrooms with comfortable beds. We snacked at home a lot-there were supplies in the kitchen, but no salt/pepper or spices of any sort. Plenty of parking! My major complaint was about the pool. Upon arrival, it was very dirty with debris. The pool vacuum was on, but spitting dirt and debris right back in from the filter. I notified the owner and management company right away and was told they knew about this and were waiting on a new filter. Problem was that I was never notified and we were not able to use the pool the entire time we were there. I also notified the pool technician per protocol, but he vas on vacation and had no backup. He did have a friend stop by who knew nothing about pools and came at 9:30 at night (we almost called the cops). The management company admittedly knew about this and nothing was done. We are working on some kind of compensation, but we paid for a house with a pool and did not get what we paid for. Our group managed to have a lot of fun. Just disappointed about the pool-and boy, it was hot! We just spent more time at the beach! Thank goodness the air conditioning was working!! ##### Mary Kaye C. This house is closer to the bay so ocean access a little far, however, we had golf carts and found a shorter beach access. Pool area very lovely and functional for our group. The property was exactly as listed. It is in a fabulous location one house from the Rod’ n Reel pier. The pool is bigger than it looks in the pictures.
