Newly Renovated Bathrooms and Fabulous New Flooring and updates throughout the whole property! Welcome to Canario Cottage! This beautiful 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom property has 1254 square feet of elevated living space and the ability to accommodate 6 guests very comfortably inside and out. Canario Cottage is large and offers plenty of room for the whole family. Everything is conveniently available on one elevated level. Walk up the stairs to the front entry. There is a lovely, covered patio to take in Island life and have your morning coffee. Make sure to enjoy the open and airy patio off the master suite. Picture yourself catching the sunset sky from either one of the two outdoor elevated porches after a day on the beach!

The poolside patio is another great spot to relax and watch the kids swim in the large pool. There is more seating and sun loungers around the pool to make sure you can relax. Enjoy with a cocktail in hand to make this the perfect island getaway!

Optional pool heat up to 86 F is available from November to April at $150/week Pools are serviced weekly and debris due to tropical climate might occur in between service days. Pool alarms are mandated per city licensing ordinance.

There are five reserved parking spaces reserved for this property.

Please keep in mind that you are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

Great VRBO for a family

We love Anna Maria Island! We also loved this property. It was perfect for our 5 member family. Enough room for everyone. We loved the pool and the location from the beach. I would highly recommend this house.

Perfect beach home with little kids

This location was perfect! Quick stroller walk to the beach, ice cream, and restaurants. The pool at the house was great for the kids as it had the shallow ledge to play on. The adults were able to get some good sun and pool time during naps! The patio area was great for when we grilled and hung out at the house. The condo had great space, and I loved that we were all upstairs so I wasn’t concerned about the kids being near the pool without an adult. I did want to add that the washing machine had lots of mold in it so we didn’t want to use that (needs a good cleaning). We would definitely love to come again and loved the area! We had a great vacation!

Outstanding

The location was superb! Easy access to the piers, restaurants and the rec center. The property itself was just as it was pictured in the ad. Spacious and comfortable. If there was a downside, and this is a personal preference, the electric stove. Just not a fan of those. Although the weather was cool, I contacted Sybille and she had the pool heater turned on which mad it very comfortable. All in all it was a terrific spot and we are looking at dates next year for the same property Al Kopack

Wonderful Location!

The location of this cottage was very nice. This was our first time to Anna Maria Island and we did not realize this was 2 streets over from the main "strip" where most everything in Anna Maria is located. We were able to walk to most everything, then would take the bikes to Bean Point every day. There are several entrances easily accessible by bike (not so much by car or golf cart). Bean Point was much less crowded and the sunsets could not be beat there! The cottage was very nice overall but it did have a few quirks. Overall, we really enjoyed the property. The renovations were very nice and the pool was perfect (had multiple levels for all age groups)! I wasn't sure I liked the idea of no dining table, but the bar area did not bother us at all! We ate at the dining table by the pool several times and enjoyed that space. The living room furniture was comfortable but did have stains that made it feel a bit less clean (particularly the pillows). The outdoor lounge furniture on the front porch was very worn out and not comfortable at all. It just felt gross so we did not use that space. The beds were very firm, so if you like that you'll enjoy these. We personally prefer something much softer so I had a sore back every night and ended up sleeping in the queen bed (it was a little softer than the king bed). The bunk beds need to be replaced asap. They were very wobbly and felt very unstable. The bottom bunk squeaked so bad and we found the board on the bottom was broken in half! (It appeared to have been repaired before) Once we noticed this, we immediately put the kids in the queen bed and I moved back to the king bed with my husband. Duncan Real Estate was very responsive during our trip. We didn't have internet upon arrival and they were quick to respond and fix. I also had to reach out about having the washing machine cleaned due to thick mold in and around the ring. I also asked for a broom so I could sweep throughout the week. They sent cleaners out very quickly to clean that for us and they brought a broom as well as vacuumed again for us. My son said there was sand in his bed that was there from previous people but I just washed those sheets myself. All in all we did not feel that confident in the cleaning crew but we'd feel good to rent through Duncan again. We would not rent this particular property again without better mattresses and safer bunks. Mats at the front/back doors would be great, we used towels.

Comfortable and everything you need

This is an excellent house. It had comfortable furniture and beds, great outdoor spaces, nice linens and a well equipped kitchen. We would definitely stay here again. The swimming pool was wonderful and deck chairs to relax. Everything was clean and cared for. What a great spot too! It is close to everything and we rode our bikes everywhere we went.

Perfect location!

Great location convenient to Pier for fishing, as well as beach entrance at the end of the street. Only one block from shops and restaurants. Great for our family of 5, it was a clean and enjoyable stay!

Beautiful location! Didn't have a great outdoor sitting space.The property was clean and updated. Our only real negatives: no smart television. Beds were small and mattresses not great. Would have been nice to have some beach chairs.

Know before you go

This is a cute property - location is minutes from shops and beaches (by foot) which is great - just know that Magnolia street is busy and there are no sidewalks and getting in and out for groceries or exploring will force you to contend with traffic delays, jams and shared roads with carts, pedestrians and tourists that haven't ridden a bike in decades - average speed is 10 mph - so stock up at Publix 1st - heated pool was great - outdoor shower was genius - master bedroom mattress is terrible - master bathroom door doesnt shut well and outdoor bathroom toilet is borderline unusable for adults - however you are on vacation and you will love the outdoors - just be safe as the lack of sidewalks and competing truck and golf cart traffic will make any parent nervous...for those looking for quiet, Bean Point Beach is probably your best bet - crowding at restaurants forced us to eat at home nearly 100% (be aware there are no grill cooking tools or spices)

A young family

There many, many good things to say about our week! The pool area was beautiful and clean and we spent many hours enjoying it! We loved the front porch and the bedroom space was great. The home was not in the best replair though and between the broken tiles, the shower that would not turn on, the extremely loud washer and drier, and the stains on the carpets we felt that some extra care was needed. There were only two small plastic plates and no bowls or full sized glasses to use down by the pool, it would have been really nice to have the option to eat on the pool deck. The week as a whole was wonderful though, one of the best family vacations we have ever had!
