À proximité de Disneyland, l’hôtel est très propre et le personnel très courtois. La piscine et les jeux d’eau étaient très apprécié par toute la famille. Un endroit parfait pour séjourner en famille à proximité de Disneyland.

The staff was excellent at this hotel, very kind and knowledgeable. Nice water play area and pool. Close to the parks. Could see the fireworks display which was great. Cons: The refrigerator and microwave were very old and did not work well. Unfortunately we were next to someone with crying children for hours at night which was extremely loud. If you want to sleep well I would not suggest this hotel.

Staff was very friendly and were able to accommodate our need for two cribs. Rooms were spacious and clean. Small eating table in room was very helpful with toddlers. The kids loved the water playground and heated pool!

Located within an 8 minute walk of Disneyland and lots of dining options too. Staff were friendly and helpful and parking convenient. Only issue was our room in block 5 had a musty odour on arrival and the sound of traffic on the nearby freeway was rather loud in our opinion.

The customer service was great and so was housekeeping, however, the economy rooms are gross and outdated. If I knew that's how the room was going to look, I would not have chosen to stay there. The toilets were gross (they’re identical to a public toilet with a silver handle), the bedding/bed skirt was gross, the counters were overly used, the carpet was gross. The hallways were beyond dirty and humid inside. I was in an extreme shock to see how the front lobby was compared to my actual room. It's a little deceiving.

I didn’t arrive at the hotel until 11:30 due to unforeseen circumstances. My five year old son was with me and could barely walk from being tired. The hotel made sure to point out that I was NOT allowed to use the pool after 12 the next day because my check out was 11. They made it especially clear that I had to leave promptly at 12. I told them there was nothing on the website and I got an oh well, that’s our policy remark. We finally got our room at the complete opposite of the hotel and I had to lug all our stuff and carry them up the stairs in building 5, since there’s conveniently no elevator. I get to the room and I kid you not, it is right next to the freeway. There is a crack on the side of the balcony which emphasizes the noise to an extreme as well. Upon opening the balcony, I see the freeway only a few feet from the room. The entire room was shaking all night long with no break in noise. At 12am, I called the front desk and spoke to Joel and let him know my air conditioner didn’t work. I get panic attacks from the heat and it was muggy, stuffy and hot in the room. He told me I had two choices, either wait until 7am when maintenance comes or change rooms. I told him my kid passed out from being tired and I couldn’t change rooms and all he said was there’s not much he can do then. Additionally, I told him about the noise and the only suggestion he had was to use Alexa for white noise. Please do not stay here.

Ryan at the front desk was GREAT! The place was great, will definitely be staying there again. If you have young kids, I recommend staying here. The kids will love it! Plus it’s super close to the Disneyland resort.

Howard Johnson was incredible, especially the staff. One staff member, Ryan, made sure our stay was extra special and help us adjust to Anaheim and plan out properly for our first Disneyland trip. We really appreciate the accommodations as well. Thank you Howard Johnson for making our first visit to Disneyland extra joyful

My child enjoyed the water play. The hotel room itself was outdated, stained, not clean. We drove throughout the night and was unable to check in early to our room. We drove 15 hours through the night, had to get ready in a lobby bathroom with no sleep and was glared at and made to feel very uncomfortable by the cleaning staff who made us more than aware they didn’t enjoy us eating breakfast in the lobby or getting ready in the bathroom since they just cleaned.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Rooms were big, tidy and comfortable. Easy walk to the Disney parks and the multiple dining places. Very friendly and helpful staff. Can’t wait to stay at this location again!

This is the 4th time staying at Hojo Anaheim. The staff are very helpful. We like the pavilion rooms for their size. The beds were comfortable. The room had all the amenities- fridge, microwave. There were lots of power outlets for charging devices and lots of room for storage.

Great location, clean and large property. Pirates cove is great for the kiddos and there is also a large pool on site. Mimi’s cafe across the street has a great food and some other good options along the way to Disneyland. Would come back!

Everything was nice but the coffee machine. I had to report two times to get the coffee machine fixed properly. Otherwise, excellent place and I would certainly come back and also recommend to other friends of mine.

We stayed 5 nights at this property, and were extremely pleased with how walkable it was to Disneyland. I feel like "you get what you get" here, the little water park was nice for the kids, although I felt the lifeguards could have backed off a bit... especially when parents were in the hottub with their kids. There were 9 of us, in 3 different rooms. Building 4, 6 and 2. Building 4 had an extreme smell of mold or water damamge, building 6 still had that same smell, and building 2 (King beds) was fantastic! I found the staff to be friendly as a whole, and it was nice to have a little market at the hotel. However, we were disappointed there wasn't a hotel restaurant, and found it extremely irritating to have to leave the property for a meal. For a 3- star hotel, I'd say it provides the basic necessitites and its rating is fair. This was our 2nd visit to Howard Johnson, and not sure whether or not we will return. I recommend this hotel to families with a lower budget, especially families with toddlers. One more thing- the grounds crew was SUPER friendly when we talked with them, otherwise they were quiet. They worked hard every day to help boost the grounds and appeal. Great job to them!

The room was a little dirty but the smell I couldn’t stand! It smelled liked someone peed the carpet and the smell was just disgusting! Never I have stayed in a hotel like this one. I don’t recommend it !
