J’ai voulu payer plus cher afin d’avoir plus de confort, mais j’ai payé pour rien! 1- l’hôtesse ne parlait pas français, alors que c’était indiqué que le personnel de l’hôtel pratique le français! 2- Le parking était proposé par l’hôtel selon le descriptif, sauf qu’une fois arrivée, aucun parking existant à l’hôtel et le seul proposé se trouve à 20 mn dans une zone peu fréquenté!!! J’ai du payer un parking à 55€!!! Qui se trouve à 15 mn de l’hôtel 3- l’hôtel m’informe dès l’enregistrement que le petit déjeuner est servi en chambre (à cause de la covid) Mais à 8h du matin, on m’appelle pour me dire de venir chercher mon plateau, car l’hôtesse est toute seule!!! Je descends quand même mais ma surprise était grande quand je vois deux hôtesses assises à papoter sans rien faire! J’ai payé plus cher en argent et en effort!

Dear Kheira, Thank you for your review. Our apologies that our sratt did not speak French. We do offer valet parking, but sometimes the driver takes longer than 15 minutes because of the traffic. Because of the covid restrictions, the food needs to be served in the room. During the mornings it can be really busy and therefore our staff needs to prepare all the breakfasts. That was the reason our staff asked to pick up the breakfast yourself. Our apologies for the misunderstanding. Emplacement idéal en plein centre historique à proximité des attractions. Parfois un peu bruyant dans la rue. Chambre spacieuse et design très agréable. Personnel accueillant.

Il est à environ 10-15 minutes de la gare centrale d'Amsterdam, au centre ville tout en n'étant pas trop près du quartier rouge ou du Damrak (qui sont constamment plein de monde). Le personnel Plutôt jeune, parlant bien évidement anglais (français pas trop). L'ensemble est moderne, avec une coloration très feutrée. Les literies et oreillers sont sans plumes (et comme j'y suis allergique c'est parfait) et hypoallergéniques. J'avais tout de même demandé confirmation à l’hôtel avant de m'y rendre (réponse dans la journée). Le Chek-in n'a pas posé de problème, sauf pour la taxe locale qui est exorbitante ! ! La chambre est propre, assez pratique avec une penderie (et des cintres amovibles - ce qui est de plus en plus rare dans les hôtels). La climatisation est gérée par l’hôtel. La salle de bain est propre, grande et lumineuse. Le coffre de chambre est correctement scellé au mobilier. La chambre est faite tous les jours. Elle dispose aussi d'une machine Nespresso, d'une bouilloire (avec sachets de thé, café, chocolat, eau…) et d’un mini frigo, L'insonorisation est correcte, même si l'on entend un peu trop le bruit en provenance de la rue Bref, un bon hôtel, très bien situé et disposant de toutes les commodités d'usage pour avoir un bon séjour à Amsterdam.

Disappointing overall
The hotel premises and rooms are very good but service was not. The valet service is terrible, they are not accommodating your personal choices (when we asked to get the car back at 3:30, they said okay for 3pm and then showed up at 2:40pm which gave us less time to visit the city and we had to do as they told us, not the opposite). We also specifically picked this hotel because they provide baby beds however there was no mattress in there. How do you expect a baby to sleep without a mattress? The large bed wasn’t anymore and it ruined the hotel night. The reception folks are kind though.

Nous avons passé 1 nuit dans cet établissement Cet hôtel est comme un écrin d’art , un subtil mélange dans le traitement de la lumière, les tons, les textures et les choix du desgn, entre la peinture hollandaise du 17ème et nos artistes contemporains. Chambre sans airco avec une une ventilation qui a mon avis ne fonctionne pas. Plus donne directement sur une rue cela a créé énormément de bruit très dérangeant quand on essaie de dormir. Très déçu de cette hôtel en général.

L hôtel est idéalement situé à seulement quelques mètres de la place du Dam. La chambre dont Je disposais était plutôt spacieuse et joliment décorée. L établissement possède également un restaurant où l ambiance est sympa et la cuisine plutôt bonne.

Good well appointed and attractive hotel in a central location, a short walk to Dam square with most of Amsterdam’s city attractions within a 20 minute walking distance radius. Not much in the way of views as it’s in a central area but our room and en-suite were modern, spacious, comfortable and well appointed, towels, robes, slippers, toiletries etc, complimentary water, tea and coffee (nespresso machine) and all the staff were welcoming and helpful and there’s also a nice restaurant (the lobby) within the hotel which was popular. The only negative i can mention is there is no thermostat to control the air conditioning individually in the room as it’s managed centrally throughout the hotel (although you can adjust the radiator). Overall a very good hotel.

The hotel is pretty centrally located. The front desk staff is lovely and very helpful. Parking is close by. The rooms are on the small side and unfortunately all of them look into the office buildings next door, so if you don’t want “Fred” sitting at his desk while your sleeping I would maybe consider booking elsewhere.

Unfortunately, our room had a very small window, making it quite dark. The bath robe had a hole on the back, under the logo. The restaurant and food were excellent. Would go back to the restaurant, the hotel was too expensive for room quality and mood.

Great stay
Absolutely amazing hotel ideally situated close enough to all of the main places, including the train station. Yet still far enough away for it to not be busy and noisy on the evenings when trying to sleep. Staff are extrememly friendly and helpful. The restaurant (Lobby V) is amazing for both breakfast and dinner.

The staff were so friendly and helpful (as were all people I encountered during my trip). The room was nicely decorated and clean, bed was super comfortable. Wi-Fi speed was perfect. Great location for walking to museums and shops. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to a friend. A welcome card and sweet treat (stroopwafel) were left in my room which was a lovely touch!
