« We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at the Northwoods cabin! The neighborhood surrounding the cabin was quiet and peaceful so I took advantage of that and went for many walks!Additionally my kids kayaked and paddle boarded in the lake in the backyard. Luckily there was a boat rental, and we were able to rent a pontoon for the day! We had beautiful weather and were able to check out the chain of lakes. « We came up from Kansas City and stayed Sunday to Saturday. Everything we needed for our vacation! The bed was comfortable, the AC and heat worked great. When we wanted to watch the Royals post season game, we grabbed our laptop and watched out at the campfire. Wifi Signal was great. Did some fishing. The lake was nice and calm. « Was a wonderful getaway with my family. Plenty of space for everyone, indoor and out. We especially loved the lower level game room, lots of fun for all ages. The deck was a nice gathering spot, we saw a mama turkey and her babies. Was nice to be able to prepare meals together without getting in eachothers way.There is a no shoes in the house policy, I would suggest bringing some comfy slippers as most of the house is tile. »

« The house was just as pictured, beautiful and spacious, overlooking tall pines and a few short steps to the lake. Lake was clean, great for swimming, tubing, paddle boarding and fishing. Hosts were very responsive and took care of an unforeseen issue in a timely manner. Had a great time (despite the weather!) and we already are thinking of returning next year. Highly recommend. »

« Rhonda greeted us at the property and she was very kind and friendly. The place is rustic and beautiful! I loved the modern kitchen with all the dishes you need to cook or grill.
