"Very cute and quiet location. The walk to their entry to Rio Celeste was quick and the hike in super fun, especially the Tarzan swing and the swim in the beautiful blue river. You definitely need a car to get around the area, not much in the way of public transportation. Meals were great and staff was very friendly. Room was perfectly fine. "

"It’s a fantastic lodge in the middle of the kungör. The cabins are very rustic, but has electricity and a private bathroom. Wi-Fi in the public building. Good food, wine and beer in the restaurant. "A little piece of heaven. Very close to the Corcovado National Park, you can walk there. Everyday we would go on a hike, as soon as you walk out of the hotel you start seeing monkeys and all sorts of wildlife. Heck, you don't even need to leave the hotel. We had a group of scarlet macaws constantly hanging out in a tree right outside our room. And a brave little monkey paid a visit one day as well. The food prepared by Chef Coco was amazing! Everything was sourced locally and made from scratch....

"We loved our stay at Occidental at Xcaret! The atmosphere was relaxed and happy. All of the staff were excellent and we felt so welcomed and well taken care of. The property is beautiful, set in the jungle with lush, beautiful grounds and an awesome private beach. We loved exploring, seeing the animals, swimming at the beach, hanging out in the pools, and spending time at the sports bar. The food and drinks were awesome, the buffet was outstanding! The location in proximity to Xcaret and other parks is perfect - we were a 2 minute walk from the park entrance down a private path. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay, and we hope to bring our family back to stay soon!"
