The instructions to collect the keys were straightforward and the process was seamless. We did, however, struggle for about ten minutes to unlock the apartment door but once in we got settled quite quickly. The apartment is beautifully decorated with a spacious open plan living and kitchen area. The home had everything that we needed and we enjoyed our stay for the week. There is a gate at the back of the garden that gives access to the hiking trail behind the house to get spectacular views over the area. This review comes from a trusted partner site and has not been verified. ### 10/10 Excellent Aug 8, 2025 #### Brathay Fell This was our second stay at this lovely spacious, light ground floor apartment .It is situated at the top of a sweeping fairly steep driveway, set in beautiful gardens.It is 20 minute into the centre of Ambleside via a pleasant riverside walk on the opposite side of the road.
