Great upstairs area with open plan kitchen, dining area with balcony and sea view. Andy the host was great, regular contact before with instructions for parking etc and also recommending cafes and restaurants. Great transport links with train and bus into Brighton too. "We only stay for one night so it was ok however wouldn’t want to stay any longer as the double room is more like single with double bed in it. It’s so hot in the room it was difficult to sleep and although they provide a fan I found that to be quite noisy. It needs some updating as some of it is looking tired. Also windows could do with some cleaning and maybe picking up all the paper rubbish from behind the bed! Last thing the floor is really creaky it gets annoying after awhile. On the plus size the staff are really lovely especially the girls in the bar area! And the breakfast was really tasty!"

"Beautiful Victorian architecture, thoughtfully refurbished with very comfortable bedrooms and spotlessly clean bathrooms. The staff were superb and really cared about your well-being and comfort. In the dining area of the bar, food was well presented and always served piping hot. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. This is really a gem of a hotel!"

"My recent stay at the Maldron Hotel, Brighton was excellent. I was particularly impressed with the helpfulness of the staff. My room was clean and comfortable with all facilities provided. Also the standard of meals provided was of a very high quality with a menu to suit all tastes. I must comment on the excellent breakfast, which gave a wide selection of food again to cater for everyone's needs. Finally, a very big thank you all staff who made my stay most enjoyable. A return visit I think."

"Really friendly staff, and the hotel allows guests to use a cowork area with comfy seats and cooking facilities. Free tea and coffee with lots of little nooks to sit and relax. Right next to the coast and the i360 so you don’t have far to go to all the sights of Brighton. Beds were really comfortable. The road outside is busy and can get quite noisy but quiet enough at night."
