Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Seoul Myeongdong
10/10 Excellent
"its one of the best hotels i ever stayed with wonderful decoration and spacious rooms and many good facilities. Clean and in order."
"It's a great location in Seoul. There's a nice river walk just a few blocks away. It's not too far to Myeongdong, but also doesn't have the hustle and bustle of that area, either. The hotel also has a great hidden "Speakeasy" bar. You'll have to ask in order to find it. This was our second stay there. "
"Loved our stay here. Very helpful staff, the pool was nice though the hot-tub was tepid at best. Gym was nice to have, laundry was great, room was huge and super clean, all the staff was super helpful."
"Good , nice furbished spacy room - great to have water purifier in the room.. Centrally located @Namdaemun market. Excellent breakfast offering ( thanks for olives & feta cheese ! ) "
"One of the very first hotels in Korea which predates even the Korean War, I first visited here as a kid in the late 70s when it was one of the top deluxe class hotels in Korea and came back for the first time since. The current version is an elite, state of the art, premium property with the highest level of service, even for Korean standards which are pretty high.
The gym is top notch rivaling most regular gyms, the food is top quality and the rooms are spacious and high tech.
But what separates this property is the service personnel from the front desk, gym staff, housekeeping, bell desk, but most of all the staff at the 20th floor lounge led by Ping. Everyone was very attentive and so pleasant and after a long 15 hour flight, the food and drinks at the lounge without having to venture far before going to bed was just what was needed.
Highly recommend this place - coming from someone who has had a very busy summer of travel to multiple countries."
Sense the magnetism of this place with its dynamic feeling of being at the heart of the country. This important area is historic as well as contemporary.
