We enjoyed the local hiki ng trails, with Greer Springs being our favorite. The cabin was really big and well maintained. Lots of extras were provided. We saw a lot of deer and birds but our favorite was the large skunk that made its way back and fourth during the evening in the meadow across the back fence line. Way out in the middle of nowhere so we could see lots of stars without much light pollution at all! That is the main reason we selected this house. The house was clean and even stocked with extra goodies (s'mores, etc). The owner is EXCELLENT with communication, often answering right away any questions I had. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a serious secluded getaway (with nice little additions like wifi and tv). The ONLY downside was the 2 mile back road that was a little touchy in spots because it had just rained. But our van made it through without getting stuck. ##### Jennifer D. The home was bright and inviting, well kept, updated with cute modern farmhouse furniture and decor, and fully stocked with everything we needed, from extra pillows, to pots and pans. We made s’mores, played games (some of which the hosts kindly provided!), and enjoyed the wildlife all around us. We counted a total of 9 deer right outside the windows. Along with a groundhog, an armadillo, and countless birds.
