Outside there is a kitchen equipped with a shed, a large patio with a table and chairs for up to 12 people in front of the internal kitchen, a swimming pool and a solarium with deckchairs for exclusive use, a relaxation area with sofas, armchairs and outdoor rocking chairs. The house is very bright, fresh and well ventilated. Inside, ground floor, living room with fireplace, air conditioning, sofas, TV, table and chairs up to 14 seats, toilet with shower, bedroom with double bed and single bed, built-in kitchen with fridge, freezer , tablecloths, microwaves, toasters, kettles and everything that is essential in a kitchen. On the upper floor, accessible by internal staircase, there are 4 bedrooms with air conditioning and 2 bathrooms with shower. Panoramic terraces accessible from the bedrooms where you can admire extraordinary sunsets and spectacular sunrises with the profile of the Aeolian islands. The view of the Villa faces east from Cefalù to Capo Zafferano. Up to 3 parking spaces are available inside the building and in front of the villa there is ample free outdoor parking. Internet access is free inside and outside the hotel. From the villa you reach in 5 minutes by car the town of Altavilla Milicia famous for the mother church, and the town of San Nicola L'Arena, a fishing village which is only 4 Km away. San Nicola l'Arena, a famous seaside resort with equipped beaches. In San Nicola l'Arena there are restaurants, pizzerias, bars that prepare excellent ice cream that can be enjoyed walking along the promenade, supermarkets, pharmacy, ATM. At the small port of the village of San Nicola early in the morning you can buy fresh fish directly from the fishermen's boat. Just 3 minutes away is the train station and 5 minutes on foot you reach the famous tourist port, destination for sailors and motor boaters, where you can rent boats and rafts or moor your boat. The location is ideal, an excellent complex for seaside and cultural tourism, 25 km from Palermo, 18 km from Monreale, 45 km from Cefalù for those who want not only to relax but also to visit the most interesting places in western Sicily. Driving along the highway towards Palermo, Falcone and Borsellino Airport can be reached in about 50 minutes and Segesta, Castellammare / Scopello, San Vito lo capo, Erice and Marsala in about an hour and a half to two hours. For mountain lovers you can visit the famous Madoniti mountains with the medieval villages of Castelbuono, Polizzi, Petralia and Gangi. Beautiful view especially at sunrise. Pool was very clean as was the house. The villa is very nice and spacious and Cristine was very quick to respond. Air conditioning worked perfectly in all rooms. Altavilla Milicia and the surrounding area is gorgeous and a good base to explore the coast of Sicily from Palermo to Cefalu as long as you have a rental car. We enjoyed going to the beach at Lido Sporting and exploring the beautiful coastline and secluded beaches by renting a boat from the marina of San Nicola where we also enjoyed a great lunch at Covo del Brigante restaurant. You can drive to Palermo, Monreale or Cefalu’ in less than 30 min (all world class UNESCO destinations for site seeing). Breakfast at American Bar in Altavilla with breathtaking views from the belvedere was the best way to start the day. One comment for improvement is that it would have been nice to have been provided extra toilette paper and pool towels. Only inconvenience was that the showers were particularly small even for European standards. Overall we had a very nice experience and will return again. ##### Kim L. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Sansone. The property was all that it was promised and more. We had two families, ten in total, staying together. It was perfect. The view was breathtaking, the pool was well maintained and refreshing, and the pingpong table filled hours of fun and laughter. We would stay here again in a heartbeat! ##### Josephine S. Séjour de 5 nuits en juillet 2022 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Christoph M. 10 août 2021 Points forts : Propreté #### Perfektes Haus für den Sizilienurlaub mit 2 Familien Das Haus besticht durch eine riesige überdachte Terrasse, die drei Seiten umfasst, während auf der hinteren Seite ein sehr großer, gleichmäßig tiefer Pool wartet - ideal zum Ballspielen und zum Abkühlen. Das Ortszentrum ist in ca. 20 Minuten fußläufig zu erreichen und bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt: Supermarkt, Fischladen, Bäckereien, Metzgereien, Gemüsehändler, Cafés, Eiscafés, Pizzeria und Restaurant. Außerdem liegt das Haus verkehrsgünstig, man ist rasch auf der Autobahn und in rund einer halben Stunde mitten in Palermo. Das Innere des Hauses ist nicht spektakulär, aber alles sehr nett und in Ordnung - die Klimaanlagen und der große Kühlschrank wurden besonders geschätzt. Einige kleinere Nachteile sind die fehlende Spülmaschine sowie die komplizierten Mülltrennungsregeln. Für kleinere Kinder ist der Pool nicht so geeignet, da er keine flachere Einstiegsseite besitzt. Für uns war er ideal. Außerdem noch zu erwähnen ist die Autobahn, die sich in knapp 100 Meter Entfernung befindet und eine ständige Geräuschquelle abgibt. Für uns Großstädter kein großes Ding - empfindsamere Gemüter könnten hiermit aber ein größeres Problem haben. Alles in allem aber eine eindeutige Empfehlung und Daumen hoch! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen... ##### Christoph M.
