"The home was spacious and well-appointed with beautiful art throughout. The hosts were so helpful and friendly. FYI: The washer also dries, which was a special treat compared to the other places we stayed. And i slept so well with the automated exterior blinds, i almost missed checking out on time!"
"the reason of 4 stars instead of 5, is because the parking it's not in the hotel. A bit inconvenient and more costly to give it to the valet parking, otherwise it's good.
About breakfast, we are not big eaters, so buffet doesn't make sense to us, so we other A la Carte, and we didn't like that you need to seat in the bar area, plus they have only one server. That means that the service was slow, and the server wasn't in his best attitude when you ask for more bread, or so...."
"Well located for walking to old town, with plenty of interesting streets to explore along the way. The restaurant turned out to be great and is open late.comfortable and cheerful room. "
"First class boutique hotel. Excellent. Deco, comfort, amenities, quiet
My third stay there in the past few months. Will return if price is right (very big flacuations). "
"It's a pretty nice place. Breakfast was basic but good. Staff was pretty friendly and some of them spoke English. Nothing fancy about the rooms we rented, they were singles, but some had balconies. Best part was the area."
"Our stay was very nice. The staff are wonderful. The beds comfortable. Good hot showers. A very quiet location right on the bus line. A quick 3 euros ride to the old town and sights. We would stay again. I don’t think that there is air conditioning. "

"Superb in every way from check-in to dining. Awesome breakfast buffet, great evening meals at decent prices. Highly recommend! Veronica is the best hostess ever!"
"Our stay at Hotel am Badersee was so cozy, comfortable and memorable. We would highly recommend a stay here if you will be in southern Bavaria and we would return here on a future visit to Germany.
We spent the day at Zugspitze and this hotel was the perfect location to stay after that. We originally planned to spend 1 night only, but liked the hotel and location so much that we spent 2 nights and took the opportunity to take the bus (with the complementary bus passes provided by the hotel) to visit some of the smaller neighboring towns and villages in the area (Garmisch was beautiful).
A highlight of the stay was the delicious food that was served at the dinner and breakfast buffets. There was a large variety of things to pick from and it was in a beautiful setting overlooking the lake, but most important of all, the food was absolutely delicious. We loved the variety after eating most of the traditional German foods for several days in Munich.
We were also pleasantly surprised by the lower $10/night parking fee as compared to parking fees in Munich.
We had a wonderful time - Thank You! "
