Summary:  
Named after its unique colour scheme, Ocean Blue Lodge is a beautifully designed holiday home located in the heart of Alnwick. An ideal getaway for two, this detached wooden lodge has everything you could need for a staycation in Northumberland. With full access to the lodge, you’ll have exclusive use of the stylish living, kitchen and dining area, bedroom and shower room. Ocean Blue Lodge also benefits from a fenced, barked area to the front of the property.  
  
The Space:  
Ocean Blue Lodge has been furnished to the highest standard. With premium furnishings and beautiful finishes, you can expect a truly luxurious stay.  
  
Head to the living room and you’ll find a comfortable space with a velvet sofa bed and armchair. Turn on the flat screen TV to keep up with your favourite shows or spend quality time with your loved one.  
  
Spaciously designed, the open plan living, kitchen and dining area is great for relaxing during your stay as the dining area includes a breakfast bar style table with seating for four.  
  
Fully equipped for self-catering stays, the kitchen has everything you could need to prepare meals easily. The navy cabinets are super stylish and in keeping with the rest of the decor in the lodge.  
  
Ocean Blue Lodge boasts one spacious bedroom. With a comfy double bed, premium bed linens and plush bedding, this is a tranquil space.  
  
In the bathroom, you’ll find a large walk-in shower, as well as a wash basin and WC.  
  
Guest Access:  
Guests have access to the full lodge. The keys to Ocean Blue Lodge are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to your stay.  
  
Free on-street parking is available nearby on a first come, first served basis. No permit is required.  
  
If a travel cot is required for your stay at Ocean Blue Lodge this must be requested prior to check in.  
  
The Neighborhood:  
Alnwick, a charming market town nestled in the picturesque county of Northumberland, England, is a place where history and natural beauty merge seamlessly. With its roots dating back to Roman times, Alnwick has a rich and storied past that is still very much alive today.  
  
The town is perhaps best known for its stunning Alnwick Castle, a majestic medieval fortress that has stood for over a thousand years. This iconic landmark has played a significant role in both British history and pop culture, serving as a filming location for movies and television series, including the beloved Harry Potter films. Its beautifully manicured gardens, known as the Alnwick Garden, are equally enchanting, featuring ornate fountains, an enchanting treehouse restaurant, and a fascinating poison garden filled with deadly plants.  
  
Alnwick's historic town centre is a delightful mix of cobbled streets, charming shops, and traditional pubs. It exudes an inviting atmosphere that beckons visitors to explore its nooks and crannies. Getting Around:  
The closest train station to Alnwick can be found in Alnmouth, which is roughly a 10-minute drive from the lodge so local towns in Northumberland can easily be reached via rail. The station has direct routes to Newcastle, Edinburgh, York, Leeds, London and Bristol.  
  
There are a number of bus stops throughout Alnwick and the main bus station is just a short from walk away from Forest Green Lodge. Hop on the X20 which takes you through to Newcastle with stops in beautiful areas of Northumberland like Alnmouth and Amble. The X18 route travels between Newcastle and Berwick-upon-Tweed with stops in Morpeth, Amble and Seahouses.  
  
The nearest airport is Newcastle International Airport, 35 miles away from Alnwick.
