Neighborhood is quiet and saw some turkeys each morning. Negative is the stairs, to the basement and upstairs, very narrow and you have to crouch to not hit your head. Also suggest the hosts would just post check out instructions on the fridge or table vs messaging you everyday. Signal isn’t the best everywhere in the Keweenaw and seeing messages everyday made me think something was wrong when we weren’t at the house. It was a great kick off place to explore the area. Had a wonderful hike at Estivant Pines. The home was very clean, well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The only negative for us because we are older wa the fact that the 2 bedrooms were on the 2nd floor and the bathroom was on the first floor. ##### Judy F.
