Bon hotel situé a proximité du centre et avec un parking. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Le petit dejeuné est classique mais copieux.

Bon hôtel bin situé
J'ai eu une chambre au dernier étage qui avait vue sur la piscine et la mer, c'était donc calme, j'ai pu dormir avec la fenêtre ouverte. Chambre spacieuse, propre. Le point négatif, le petit déjeuner qui est une catastrophe. Malgré le nombre de commentaires négatifs à ce sujet, cela ne change pas. Dommage... Bien situé, pas loin du village par contre pour aller au bord de la mer, vaut mieux avoir une voiture. Affiché comme un 4 étoiles mais cela ne l'est pas. Un bon 3 étoiles je dirai.

L’hotel est propre et bien entretenu. Malheureusement il est un peu brouillant. Les équipements et l’aménagement (décoration, meubles...) ne sont pas à la hauteur des 4 étoiles annoncées. C’est un bon 3 étoiles.

Mauvaise insonorisation, impossible de profiter du balcon car le bruit des voitures est incessant. Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits, avons demandé à changer de chambre pour pouvoir dormir. Celà n'a jamais été fait. Cerise sur le gâteau vue imprenable sur le cimetière.......

Bonne situation.
Établissement refait à neuf mais avec des matériaux médiocres qui ne sont pas des matériaux que l’on met dans des hôtels mais chez des particuliers. Les chambres sont neuves. Dommage que l’isolation phonique n’ait pas été faite. Pas de double vitrage alors que l’établissement donne sur la rue principale. La nuit la lumière du couloir des parties communes qui reste allumée toute la nuit passe sous la porte de la chambre. Obligé de calfeutrer avec les coussins. La climatisation fait un bruit infernal. C’est un appareil type split que l’on met chez les particuliers. Le petit déjeuner est médiocre. Pas de vrais jus de fruits mais plutôt de la poudre mélangée à de l’eau (inadmissible avec le nombre de fruits que l’on trouve au Portugal). Cet hôtel ne correspond pas à un 4 *.

The hotel and property is very basic by modern hotel standards and is starting to look its age. It is not unpleasant or unkempt, it is simply lacking charm and ambience. The location is convenient because it is an easy walk to a full supermarket or to the town of Alvor with its many bars, restaurants and shops. I wouldn't dissuade anyone from staying here, just be prepared for average.

Our third stay at Agua Jardim. Highly recommend for a short stay, but if having a longer holiday you might prefer somewhere more luxurious. There are many varieties of rooms, some don’t have balconies so ensure you check if that’s a priority for you. We had a studio (with small balcony) and a small ‘kitchen’ but it has limited facilities if you plan to cook. We just needed a fridge and kettle with cutlery/plates/bowls so had what we needed. You couldn’t prepare a cooked meal, very few pans or any other essentials. The pool area is fine for a quick swim and sunbathe, but the sun-beds are not comfortable to lay out all day. Usually no problem finding a sun-bed in full sun or shade. Breakfast is complimentary 8-11 everyday and has a nice variety of hot/cold buffet and friendly staff, can’t complain when it’s free. As long as the prices remain competitive, we’ll be back again. Great location and we love Alvor as a resort. Best beach and good restaurants.

2nd short break here this year. We love Alvor and this hotel is in a great location and easy walking distance to the great restaurants and bars in the centre. We had a lovely view from our balcony and the free breakfast was really nice. We upgraded to a deluxe room from a standard this time and it’s worth the extra money for the balcony and extra space (standard is very small). Only negative - the sunbeds around the pool are really uncomfortable - probably why we never had a problem getting one. I’m considering bringing a camping mat for it for future stays - we’ll be back!

Perfect for a short stay
My stay here was for one night on a road trip and it was perfectly fine. At first they gave me a room that was on the first floor very close to the road but I didn’t want it and they provided me with another room in the back. Staff was friendly, breakfast was sufficient. I did not use the pool. I did walk down to the little town and had dinner at the Mozambique restaurant which was excellent

Great choice out of the centre of Portimao, Alvor is a bit less hectic, but still with plenty of bars & restaurants. Staff at the hotel exceptionally helpful and friendly, and our twin room with balcony was comfortable, clean and spacious with a sea view. Good location for getting to the Portuguese MototGP

Very clean and upto date with UK and Irish visitors ie Thirteen amp plug sockets. Great variety of food for breakfast. A small fridge in smaller rooms would make this hotel a 5 star. Location excellent, 3 min walk to a large supermarket, 5 min from restaurants and bars, transport to and from the hotel to the beach, you couldn't ask for more.

Was put in a tinny room. Mattress was uncomfortable, very hard. Had an empty duvet cover as blanket. No coffee machine or boiler in the room. No hand soap amenities,only shampoo. Breakfast staff was absolutely terrible. They were very rude to me every day. Not a plaisent morning breakfast. Had to argue to take my coffee upstairs every day even though there’s no coffee machine in the room it seams like it was a problem to take my coffee upstairs and the manager was yelling. Would not recommend this hotel. I’m sure you can find better around

At Água Hotels Alvor Jardim, we take our guests’ feedback seriously as this is the only way we can truly measure and continuously improve the service we provide to our guests. It is indeed disappointing that your stay with us has not been outstanding. We apologize for the dissatisfaction you have experienced. Regarding the information available in the breakfast room the food/drinks aren't allowed to take it to the rooms. We have kettles to provide in the rooms by request in the reception. We provide shampoo, hand soap and shower gel in the rooms. We are disappointed to hear you didn’t find our offerings excellent. Unfortunately, we were unable to impress you in this aspect. Also we do apologize for the inconvinient with the person as you identify as a manager, but I as responsible person in the hotel didn't had any information or arguing with guests as you mention. Perfect location. Small and friendly. Quiet, perfect for couples. Small selection of food on beakfast buffet but all tastes catered for and superb staff. We're already planning another trip.

The hotel was brilliant, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Everything looked newly refurbished and was spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and had lovely crisp white cotton sheets and bouncy pillows. There was lots of space in our room and the two layers of double glazed doors made it very quiet. There was also a fridge. We were only there for one night as we were on a visit from our home in the Eastern Algarve for a friends barbecue but we would definitely go there again and highly recommend it. Great value for money.
