It’s in a nice neighborhood and the location was very convenient for all of the things we wanted to see and do in Albuquerque. Our trip to Albuquerque started out as a solo trip for me to present at a conference and turned into a mini family reunion! I booked this house to accommodate everyone and it was the best decision. The house is exactly as it appears in the photographs, maybe even better. One of our favorite parts was watching the hot air balloons from the upstairs porch every morning while drinking coffee! Pictures of that can't do justice to the actual experience. The neighborhood is clean, quiet, and safe, and the house is close to stores, outdoor activities, and Old Town. Our first stay was in June for planning the wedding and we loved it so much we came back. The hosts attention to detail is unmatched by any other property we have stayed at. I would describe it here but it would be a book. Suffice to say “if you need it they have it”. It’s the most beautifully decorated property ever and so many comfortable places to hang out. The hostess made us feel like we were staying in a dear friends home. The house was spacious and beautiful. Great care was taken to ensure we could check in easily and the hostess was available for any questions we had.There was coffee and creamer and water and sodas available. The beds and living room furniture were comfortable and cozy and there was an abundance of outdoor spaces to enjoy as well. We saw hummingbirds and 8 hot air balloons from our balcony. However, communication with the owner was odd and overbearing. Welcome email included 6 pages of rules and instructions, followed by text messages/rules. House binder is 30+ pages of rules and instructions, including something called the ‘no futzing’ fee. The ‘pay it forward’ pantry is nice, but it needs purging (3 jars of opened peanut butter, several boxes of sugar, etc).
