The house features14" old adobe walls that have been plastered with a diamond finish. It has lights from the city's first Hilton Hotel, stained glass transom and a short hall that joins the original 1 room house with a second living room and kitchen (the restoration includes modern appliances, dishwasher and stacked washer dryer). The front porch faces the playground of the old San Felipe school and has it's own private back patio. The home is right on a corner near a busy road. Noise was an issue at night. Mostly until 1 or 2 in the morning. Easy to imagine life back when Old Town was bustling. Home was well equipped and stocked. Hosts were extremely responsive, especially during our evening check-in.
