Joanna-Marie is a beautiful deluxe villa, furnished to a high standard and featuring a private swimming pool, which can be heated for all year round use. Situated on a gently elevated position with views of the Salgados Golf course, Galé beach and the ocean beyond, this villa benefits from magnificent sunsets to the West. A new kitchen will be installed in March 2026.

With sustainability in mind a new solar power system has been installed. The Villa also has 5G wifi throughout, new double BBQ, and pizza oven, air conditioning, laundry room, games room with table tennis, darts and pool, and parking for up to 8 cars.

The villa is located on a small private estate, with no through traffic, called Quinta de Amizade (Friendship Farm).  The beautiful local beaches are within a 5 minute drive, or alternatively for those who prefer gentle exercise, it's an approximately 30 minute walk. Local restaurants and cafes are just a 10 minute stroll away.  

The villa has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and is built on three levels. The ground floor comprises of a large open plan living/ dining room, guest cloakroom, kitchen, utility room and bedrooms four and five. The lower level of the property houses a large double garage with a table tennis table and pool table. The villa’s upper storey consists of bedrooms one, two and three, all with balconies and views to the sea. The villa is located on a small private estate of nine villas and is secured with a full alarm system and a safe. It is fully air conditioned (cooling, heating and de-humidifying). Outside is a BBQ area, walk round garden, an outside eating and sitting area and plenty of room to lounge around the pool on sunbeds.

Living Areas

The open plan living/ dining room is very spacious and includes a new 65 inch flat screen television with multi language UK, USA and European satellite channels (incl. Sky Sports, BT Sport, TV Series and movies). A bose sound bar with bluetooth can be used withg the TV or for outside music. Free 5G Wi-fi is available throughout the villa. Double patio doors lead to the poolside terrace and the dining area features a large dining table with 12 chairs. An outdoor seating sofa area makes the most of the late afternoon sun.

The large modern kitchen has been designed and fitted to a high standard and appliances include a microwave, dishwasher, oven, dual sinks and a new American style fridge freezer with integrated water/ ice dispenser and a TM5 Thermomix. There is a coffee perculator and sous vide equipemnt.There is an additional breakfast table with seating for 8 in the kitchen. There is a separate, large, utility room that has a new Miele washing machine and separate Bosch tumble dryer. The kitchen also opens through double French doors onto the outside dining area and poolside terrace.

Bedrooms and bathrooms

Both bedrooms (bedrooms 4 & 5) on the ground floor are twin bedrooms, each with en-suite shower rooms, and there is an additional downstairs guest cloakroom with shower and mini-bath, positioned off the entrance hallway.

Bedrooms 1,2 and 3 are located on the first floor of the villa. All rooms are en-suite. The master bedroom has a four poster bed and en-suite bath with additional shower unit. All of the first floor bedrooms have balconies with superb views over the Salgados golf course and distance sea views.

Outside Space

Outside, the villa is surrounded by gardens, including newly planted orange and lemon trees. The swimming pool is in a figure of eight configuration and measures approximately 9mx 5m, with a roller cover and optional pool heating which is available for a supplementary charge of £190 pw. The pool is located in a very private hedged area of the garden. The poolside terrace has a large dining area from which to enjoy meals cooked on the traditional double barbecue, there is also a wood fired pizza oven. the poolside terraces are a good size with 10 new sunloungers and sunshades, surrounded by the lawns and gardens.

Location

In the local area you are spoilt for choice for leisure activities, with the golf course at Salgados and the beaches at Gale and Salgados all within a short five minute drive. The marina of Albufeira and the famous Old Town can all be reached within a 15 minute drive. There is a selection of bars and restaurants within close walking distance, including traditional Portuguese and a homely Italian restaurant. The villa is located in the central Algarve and is with easy reach of all the beaches and attractions along this beautiful Atlantic coastline.

The Algarve has over 300 days of sunshine and year and the temperature is moderated by the sea breeze.
