"Fairbanks has apparently run down since its tourist heyday, and this hotel is the exception. It's apparently owned or patronized by Holland America cruise lines, and is crawling with helpful staff. They have a luggage room that accommodates morning dropoffs so that you can head out sightseeing. My only complaint is that our bathroom partition with shower and toilet seems dark with a single incandescent bulb."
