Then once we did get inside, there was no water available. Most likely it was frozen. But we had to haul water from another location in order to even be able to flush the toilet during our stay. From room 205, starting from the very first night, I could hear the noise from the plumbing… On top of that, when I asked about the airport shuttle schedule, the answers I received were completely off-topic. The staff member who checked me in seemed totally clueless. In the end, I didn’t even stay for the last night I had paid for. The Wedgewood Resort in Fairbanks is a much better option, even if it’s not as close to downtown. The small downtown area itself is charming, with several international restaurants to choose from."
