The only problem was noise for a couple of nights (until just before dawn) but it was the end of term at the university so there was reason for celebration I guess. The apartment has triple glazed sliding doors but it doesn't cut out all the street sounds. The entrance to the apartment is scruffy, but don't be deterred, you get used to it after a few days. Great location for exploring Aix. Lovely (and very helpful) owner who rescued us after getting lost. Not a good location for a car. Fortunately we came by bus. ##### Barbara J.
