GUEST WAS MESSY AND UNPLEASANT. I’m sorry it was not what you expected Elizabeth we have had many guests stay here and this has always been a five star rated house, with several guests returning. We are super hosts on our other platform and work hard to offer good clean, comfortable homes as we always want guest to feel good. Not sure why the property looks better in daylight than dusk? We are less than a 1/2 mile from Bruce’s field and most all have been equestrian guests, who are very satisfied as is seen in our reviews. In fact the neighbor directly across the street owns a large training barn facility. You called that a lightbulb was out when you checked in and we came over right over in the dark to replace. We also offered on your first day if you wanted a full refund and you could stay somewhere else . You insisted on staying so you and your daughter must have felt comfortable enough! We left you star review because we are kind hosts and want to keep peace. However Honestly, we haven’t had a guest leave the property in the condition you and your daughter did with a very sticky red stain spill of some sort on the chair, dirty dishes all over the house that were never picked up or washed, dogie dodo that wasn’t picked up in the backyard, stinky trash inside in the house that wasn’t dumped as requested in checkout instruction's. In fact you didn’t do any of the requested checkout instructions. In addition to dog hair everywhere in the master bedroom bed and pillows. So ,Thank You for finding some where else in May to stay. We took care of all the extra cleaning with no additional fees. We even waived the dog penalty for a dog that you showed up with and had no prior approval . You never said anything about your dog till we asked, just to be reasonable hosts we waived the penalty for a dog without preapproval. Our house keepers didn’t find the blanket and it was a mistake as it is a very old and worn looking and they thought it was an old rag or something and they stuck it in the cleaners closet in a bag with other supplies. I found it when I went to the house to do my walkthrough. I told you we would be happy to ship it back to you. But you need to pay shipping as it required a large box and is costly to ship. We can still send a shipping payment request for you if you would like it back?
