I enjoyed this place, very serene and relaxing. My one complaint, we didn’t realize this was located basically on top of a karaoke bar that goes well past midnight. The place is really nice and would come back!

What a View !!! 😍😍😍

The ocean view was stunning literally steps away from the beach sunrises and sunsets were a highlight! It was very comfy and cozy and tons of places to eat and have cocktails nearby; Mike was absolutely amazing and accommodating he is the true definition of a Host and made our stay even more delightful we will definitely be returning to Mares Guesthouse !!!

Hell of a view! Bed was comfortable. If you stay on the weekend La Bravata gets down! If you like peace and quiet just be aware you’ll listen to the music most of the night but if you like to have a good time it’s the perfect choice since it’s super close to your room. Air conditioning is super cold! I would stay here again.

Great Location and Almost Perfect

The only thing I have to complain about is the hot water; it was tepid at best. It was very comfortable and clean. I would stay here again if the water could get hot.

Great couples vacation

My wife and I stayed here for a Valentine's day getaway as part of a larger Puerto Rican vacation. Mares was amazing, right across the beach, clean, and next to several great bars and restaurants. Ricon, with it's amazing swimming beaches is only a 15 minute drive away. The room was clean. They also left a special Valentine's gift basket with wine and chocolate. It was really wonderful
