The check in and out was a breeze and the car service provided (for a 25 euros paid to the driver Themis) was very helpful as when we arrived there was a taxi strike. The host was kind enough to provide a list of local restaurants and markets and guidance on how to use the local transportation to get into Athens city center. We stayed in the loft room with the beach view and it was amazing. Room was comfortable and perfect for my daughter and I. My only regret is not staying there for our full time in Athens. Highly recommend Cubes and will definitely stay there again next time we’re in Athens." I had been on an island and flew back to Athens for the night before my flight home the next day. Not sure why, but leaving the airport it takes about 30 minutes to get there. Getting back to the airport was much shorter as there is a different entrance apparently. Took about 10 minutes at 0330 in the morning. There are restaurants close by, but if you're hoping to be in some touristy part of town and holding off on buying souvenirs until you get here, I'd suggest you get them somewhere else earlier in your trip. Not much shopping for souvenirs around here."
