![Raise your hand if you – like me – would never have guessed that this is… Greece! 🙋‍♀️ It was a steep but not too long hike up the mountains to get to Astraka refuge. We had great weather on the way up but it took a turn for the worse, so we dropped our stuff off in the refuge, had lunch, and waited. My legs were tired and I was so cold in the cabin so I really wasn’t feeling like getting out again to hike a bit more to get to Drakolimni/Dragon Lake but the skies cleared up again so I just couldn’t stay inside. And I was very happy I didn’t because the views were absolutely a m a z i n g. I mean I knew Greece is beautiful but I barely knew there are hikes to be done there, let alone with this kind of views. "Very nice resort in western Greece. Very clean. Breakfast buffet in the mornings were large and delicious with lots of options. Getting to the resort is a pain, but once you're there its fantastic. Easily walkable to Parga (approx 10 mins with a large hill). Beach is beautiful with sunbeds always available. I wish the resort had the option of sea view rooms. And the pools were chilly, it would be nice if they were slightly warmer. Overall great experience and would go back/recommend to others. "
