Located 400 metres from the ski slopes, in winter, you can easily enjoy the beginners' area of the resort, which allows the youngest to discover the joys of skiing, while more experienced skiers can access the alpine ski slopes. In summer, you can enjoy beautiful walks and, upon your return, savour good grilled dishes while enjoying the view and surrounding greenery from the terrace. The living area is most pleasant thanks to its exposed beams and layout. You will find a fully equipped and modern kitchen with electric hobs, refrigerator, microwave, oven, freezer, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, toaster and kettle. The round table in the dining area invites you to share good meals and delicious raclettes in winter. Under the stairs, a small area with a sofa is ideal for a reading or TV break. After a long day of hiking or skiing, you can rest in one of the two bedrooms upstairs in the chalet. The first, with a queen-size bed, is a cosy cocoon for a couple. The second has a double bed and a bunk bed, thus accommodating 4 people. On the ground floor, you will also find a bathroom with toilet and hairdryer, a hallway to leave skis, a washing machine and a barbecue. Free public parking spaces are available nearby. In the heart of the resort, where everything is accessible on foot, you will find within reach: \- Skiset Louron sport and Le Sud Sport, for your ski equipment rentals \- La Boutique de Val Louron, Casino grocery store, press, souvenirs and bread depot \- The ESF Val Louron ski school \- Ski lifts \- A restaurant, "Le Tuco", and a fast food service, the "Casse Croute" \- 2 sports fields \- A mountain bike trail Located 8.5 km from the commune of Loudenvielle, you will discover in the valley: \- A Carrefour Mountain supermarket \- 14 restaurants and bars \- Sports fields \- The Balnéa aquatic and spa centre, with its various baths, saunas, hammams, pool and treatments \- The Ludéo aquatic space \- Ludik park, with children's games, quad bikes and mountain bikes \- L'Aventure Branchée, leisure park \- Several hiking trails, particularly around the Génos lake \- The Château de Génos \- The Louron Aquapark, water-based leisure base In a preserved mountain, with a superb panorama, outdoor activities are renewed every day. To share pleasures other than skiing or sledging, you can also go snowshoeing or visit the huskies. In summer, the fir trees hanging on the slopes provide shade at the start of hiking trails. Circuits are also open for trail running, mountain biking or scooter descents. You can also challenge the Pyrenean mountain passes by bike. Or attend the Tour de France!
