The first dog is subject to a $55 fee, and each additional dog will be $27.50\. The dog size must not exceed 70lbs each. We will ask the size and breed of your dog. \* Fireplace is not to be used \* No parties, no outside visitors, no overnight guests without previous approval from your host. \* Do not engage in illegal activities anywhere on the property. There will be a $400 charge if smoking occurs. \* No fireworks \* There is a 24 hour outdoor surveillance camera that points to the driveway only \* Please respect the neighborhood-quiet time hours are 10 pm-7 am ✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $57 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional. To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots. We also had concerns about the property's suitability for people with mobility issues, or for families with small children. The paddle boat and kayaks were a great bonus—both the kids and adults had a blast on the water. The cottage also has a lovely little beach right off the rear deck, plus a dock where the kids could fish or jump in for a swim.My wife and I stayed in the downstairs bedroom, which opened right onto the deck. Waking up to the sunrise and winding down with the sunset over the water was just incredible.The host was excellent with communication from the very beginning and checked in throughout our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. We found it to be spacious and quite comfortable for everyone. My grandchildren enjoyed the beach area and my son-in-laws took advantage of the paddle boat and kayaks.The one concern we had were the steep stairs going down to the first floor. We were able to manage and work around that but maybe that could be mentioned in the listing or pre check in information.Overall, the home was perfect for our needs as we wanted to be near family for a reunion and wedding.
