Before his arrival they even called ahead to ask if he’d like them to reserve his tea time slot in case it filled up, such a thoughtful touch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. They also went the extra mile by preparing him a packed lunch for the next day, which was much appreciated while he was working away. Spotlessly clean inside, the rooms were very well equipped apart from the shockingly poor non steam iron in the room. The bed was super comfortable and all of the staff were incredible. Nothing was too much trouble, everyone was super welcoming and friendly and helpful. All of the food we had during our stay was lovely . Generous meals sizes and wonderfully prepared. The hotels is well managed and maintained and run by a wonderful team . I highly recommend this place to stay, you wont be disappointed. We will defo come to stay again .next time for longer. Reception was chaotic. There was no recepton area, just a bell, which I rang three times. After the third time, I went through to the bar to find that an elderly lady was managing both bars, and check in.. Eventually after about 25 minutes we got checked in. The room was basic but clean, warm and comfortable. We had a nice cooked breakfast in the morning.
