Property was well suited for our needs, room was nice and spacious with good amenities. Main issues were the bathroom (especially the cramped and moldy shower) and the musty smell that permeated the room. Rooms could definitely use some refreshing!
Really easily accessible lovely warm comfy room...will definitely stay again

Property was what you get for the price.
But i have to say that some of the work in the bathroom was very rough.
It was clean and had a fridge in the room so that was a plus.
Friendly and flexible staff made the stay very pleasant. It's a great place to rest after a busy travel journey — the beds are comfortable, and all essential amenities are provided, including a mini fridge and microwave. The location is ideal, within walking distance to the city center and railway station. There's also a shared kitchen with basic facilities, which was very convenient.
Good low budget place to stay when in Aberdeen, comfortable bed nice wee shower room adequate for 1 person and the fridge and microwave in the room made the stay better.
Very good ensuite room with fridge and microwave. Very clean and with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is located in the city centre and is very convenient for amenities and attractions.

Good value
Good location, very quiet, got a good night sleep, easy check-in. Clean and comfortable. Decor and maintenance in much need of updating. Good value for money.
Self-check-in was easy and explained well. Only staff contact was with cleaners who were exceptional.
Room had a microwave, dishes, fridge and kettle, which saved me a fortune as I could prepare my own meals.
Best value for money property in Aberdeen. Rooms are equipped with a fridge and microwave as well as having a full size kitchen in the basement. Location of the property is right in the city centre so everything is walkable distance. Unfortunately no free parking however there are lots of overnight secure parking areas available for cheap. Self check in was quick and easy.
Cannot fault this property on anything and would highly recommend to anyone staying in Aberdeen. Will definitely be back thank you!
I contacted the staff on arrival and they were immediate in helping me. I forgot something amd they have posted it to me. Im very pleased with my stay.
I understand that this is a low-budget hotel and I don't want to be completely negative. There were some good points, the location was great and the communication was very clear. However, in the room, the lampshade on the ceiling was held up only by the bulb, the bed was uncomfortable and the shower head was broken and wouldn't stay up without being propped up. Another point to note is that some of the other guests were not considerate when entering/exiting the building and the door would regularly slam and vibrate through the building, and this could be improved with some kind of mechanism on the door to prevent it slamming quite so hard. I would also suggest investing just a small amount of money in the rooms to update them and make them feel a little fresher (I was a bit confused as to why a hotel room in Aberdeen had a picture of pre-9/11 New York on the wall, for example).
Not a terrible place, but it could do with a little care and attention.
I suppose you only get what you pay for, i do plan to visit Aberdeen again but i won't be staying at the Terra Nova, bed was ok but i was constantly awakened by other guests storming past my room, shower clearly wasn't designed for me but then again I'm a big man
I'll be staying somewhere else next time.
