« Visiting in my own I stayed 3 nights at Prince Rupert. Fantastic location right in the centre. I had a lovely friendly welcome, the staff at the desk were very helpful. The room is nice, small but very clean tea/coffee making facilities, very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Good breakfasts. I had a couple of dinners at the restaurant - very friendly, good food. My only complaint is the horrible Richard Claydermanish music in the restaurant! Thank you for my nice stay. »

« Absolutely no heating, complained two times, said they reset the boiler but still nothing, had to ask a portable heating device, not acceptable for the prixe of the night. Also didn’t get any hot water in the morning »

« This hotel is very much due a complete overhaul to bring it into the 21st century. It is generally dark without double glazing in the bedrooms which do not have good views. Have not eaten there so cannot comment on quality of the catering. »

« Very satisfied with our stay a fan was provided in the room with the weather being so warm, nothing was too much trouble, room cosy comfy bed and the pub just downstairs very handy, definitely be staying again. »

« Fabulous period property with so much charm. There were only a handful of people staying, including me, which made for a very peaceful stay. I slept well, and the rooms had great amenities. I would say the rooms felt dated, but this adds to the charm of the property. The evening food was fantastic, and there was a good selection of drinks available.
