The room was clean and well attended. The hotel is a resort with a couple of pools, a few restaurants and lounge. We used the lounge and Soltida,a more casual restaurant. The other two restaurants looked very nice, however quite expensive. The breakfast buffet was very good. Large selection of western and Japanese foods. The front desk staff was always very helpful to arrange dinner reservations and taxis. The hotel is a little bit too far of a walk from downtown, especially in the heat and humidity. There is a bus that runs to downtown however we did not use it. Taxis were inexpensive. The hotel provided free parking as we had a rental car that we used to explore the island. Ishigaki is definitely a nice tranquil island and a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the bigger Japanese cities.
