"The Fairmont is a centrepiece of Baku. The hotel staff are phenomenal, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and pleasantly decorated. The reception is welcoming. We were met by Survan who was exceptional. His attention to detail to ensure your stay with them was paramount. He went above and beyond and a credit to the hotel chain. "Bed smelled like urine, blankets were not changed for the entire stay, and one of the 2 bathrooms was unusable, it was leaking. We told staff the next morning and he said they will take care of it tomorrow…tomorrow never came!! The only thing nice about the stay was the cleaning staff, they were very friendly and lots of places to go m, restaurants to eat at, but absolutely no parking. We had to pay about $200 mannat. I would never recommend this place. Glad to be out!"

"We had an amazing stay! We were two couples travellking together for the formula one and had joining rooms with views over the track. The rooms were newly renovated and were very comfortable. The service was amazing and they provided us with free pickup from the airport since there were road closures that weeekend due to the hotels proximity to the track.
