"Pierre covers all the bases with their first house. Beautiful rooms with clean white linens, welcoming you as soon as you arrive,, with great advice about the area,lovely pool, bicycles to ride around the island.... And saved the best for last comment... Breakfast!!! Is incredible "

"Beautiful, colorful, eclectic~ish place.Taxied to Monkeyland & Birds of Eden & loved it. Long downhill walk to beautiful but rough beach. Taxied back. Town is close & nice."

"It was an unexpected pleasure. The forest, the beauty, the great service from Wonderful, Bruce, Harry, Brenda, and a pleasure to meet and chat with Carol. This is a unique place and one that we enjoyed immensely. "

"Stayed 3 nights. What I liked: (1) The staff was great!!! (2) Location is great to centre George with lots of dining options you can walk to. (3) The rooms, themselves were very clean. What I did not like: (1) Wifi Internet never worked. (2) Generator was not working so there was no power during loadshedding. (3) The carpet in the hallways where the rooms are located is disgusting and needs to be replaced. Detracts from the otherwise clean environment. "

"Nice hotel, friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable. It’s in at the top of the hill overlooking Knysna and not walkable. Not much in Knysa except the waterfront. It’s an overprice place for food and not much to see. The hotel was nice but I would stay in Plettenberg Bay instead. "

"The place is peaceful and quiet with a serene yard/pool area. The rooms are lovely with seating area and private patio. It is about a mile outside of "town" but feels suburban. I think it's great for a couple or family with a car. As a solo traveler I didn't find it perfect as I was reliable on taxis but that is unique to my needs. The place is lovely."
