"This isn't a review, rather a comment. I think it'd be helpful if there were more luggage trolleys available. At check out time I asked for one to be brought to our room and after 15 mins gave up waiting. I was told later,at reception, that the one trolley that could have been available was already in use. I wondered why there was only one. I admit such trolleys are bulky. Overall our stay was good. "

"Bay Plaza Hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Supermarket directly across the road. Te Papa museum very close by. Shops, restaurants and entertainment close walking distance. Hotel bed was comfortable. Small fridge, kettle and beverages only. Some cutlery and a couple of plates would be helpful. Onsite restaurant available. Bathroom could do with an extractor fan. It got easier once we found out how to avoid climbing up the steep Plimmer Steps ( by judicious use of nearby elevators and lift). Two carparks are there but also a public carpark option is cross the road with early bird discount for $13.50 full day parking 6am-7pm. Easy walking distance to anywhere in city.
