The transfer company had my flight wrong so didn’t show up, and I really wanted to get to the hotel to use the pool, so I walked, and it was fine. They actually let me into my room early, which was very kind, and let me check out late because I was coming back from a beach excursion and wanted to have a shower. "We had a wonderful stay on Easter Island. Our hostess was lovely and checked with us by Whatsapp every day to see if we needed anything. Our plane was delayed and she was happy to let us stay on a little longer. The appartment had a lovely, peaceful balcony next to banana trees and avocado plants and was within walking distances of restaurants and the coast where we could snorkel with turtles. If we lived nearer we would be back every year!"

"This is a small, family-run hotel. The setting is a little rustic, but so is all of Rapa Nui. The room was perfect for one or two people. It is a 15 min walk to the town. There is ample parking for cars. It is quiet (except for a few chickens -- island life). The owner picked me up at the airport, and drove me back a few days later. A safe, clean, reliable place to stay at a good price."
