"I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Iriomote. There's lots of space on the property, including a massive bathroom and a huge terrace, with a sea view where you can see the stars at night. There's also lots of wildlife that can be easily seen from many areas on the property, for example frogs and coconut crabs. "The hotel is located in a little village with just a few restaurants, but the next little town over has a little grocery store and a few more restaurants. The hotel itself has a restaurant and it was quite good and quite a good portion. The staff are wonderful and the owner speaks English! He was so very helpful, helping us get reservations, plan excursions and rent a car, such a nice and helpful fellow. It is also on a lovely beach on a calm protected bay and the sunsets and night sky are wonderful, as is the quiet!"
