"Pretty disappointed overall with my stay. Had there been other options when booking last minute I wouldn't have booked. The room had long black hairs all over the floor and bed when I arrived. "This was our favorite hotel on our trip to Scotland. The location is great and we had a totally comfy stay. This is a family run hotel and you can tell. Iain was a great host and he made sure we felt welcomed. He even set us up with a "do it yourself" breakfast on a day we had to leave early for a tour. The room was quiet and comfortable. It's definitely not ultra-modern... and that's one of the things I loved about it. And you can walk anywhere in town from the hotel in just a few minutes....

Had the ability to grill our own food and have a fire to sit around and enjoy the beautiful weather we had way into the night. Grocery store and restaurants nearby. Play area for the kids. "This property is a gem located nearby Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns. The cabin is very new with a clean and functional kitchen as well as comfortable beds. Inverness is a quick drive away or by taxi (we found parking in Inverness to be a nightmare so opted for the taxi.) The owner is on-site to answer questions or help with any problems. Great place to stay if you are visiting the sites in this area of Scotland. "
