"We had a great stay at their hotel. Both owners were very sweet and hospitable. Started from the wife picking us up at the airport. "The Holiday Inn Express in Luoyang is a great deal. The hotel staff was warm and welcoming. My room was large and cozy and the bathroom was my favorite part (huge gym-style shower). The breakfast at this hotel is outrageously terrific! Every morning there was a delicious spread of Chinese and Western dishes to enjoy. I was traveling alone during this visit to see the Longmen Grottoes and I felt very safe and happy here. I highly recommend this spot!"

"This is more of a boutique and is nestled in a nice neighborhood. It is clean and a fun place, but not a hotel as such. The best part is the closeness with the owner and his family.
