Nice hotel and very convenient to main train station and trams, but also walkable to restaurants, shopping, and old town area. Checked in on my birthday and received a gift! Staff were all friendly. Room was small, but pleasant.

I stayed at the Bristol Hotel for two nights. The hotel was conveniently located to the main train station, old town Zurich, shopping and dining. The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Room was a nice size, beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a nice size. Free breakfast was good, but no hot selections which was disappointing but food was good quality. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 6 nights and we loved getting back to our room everyday after our day trips. Beds were comfortable, towels were changed daily. The breakfast was average but it was enough to keep us going on our day trips. Croissants, buns, slices of deli meat, boiled eggs, jams, cheeses, cereals, bananas and apples, yogurt, cofffee, tea, juice were sufficient for us. The best part was they sent us take away breakfast bags to eat on the train when we had to leave very early during our stay. The staff is very friendly as well. Location is very close to the Zurich main station, Old Town, shopping area and the lake. Overall it was a very pleasant stay for us. We are not the picky and fussy type so it was good for us. We definitely would stay again in this hotel.

A no-frills, but comfortable and very convenient base of operations in Zürich, with everything you could need within a quick walk, but just outside the busiest area, so it's quieter and you can enjoy the luxury of, say, a local bakery with non-tourist prices. The property could use a little renovating -- in fact, there were floor and carpeting renovations underway when I was there.

Lovely hotel - was also upgraded to bigger room. Very handy for HBF station - literally minute walk. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast continental and value for money in comparison to generally quite expensive external options. Would recommend this as a nice place to stay.

Was told by my cousin (when he walked me to the hotel) that the hotel was in the red light district! But I saw nothing like that either night, it's close to the station, and in the morning the road was busy with workers and lots of people. The hotel is fine, I got an upgrade for some reason (overbooked she said but not sure how that worked!) and the room was perfectly fine, shower was amazing, bed very low but comfy. Good range of the channels too. Drinking the very clean tap water was a bonus! I didn't have the breakfast as was meeting people, but it looked ok through the door! Would recommend this hotel, but remember Zurich is not a cheap city!!

Great one night stay
I arrived way earlier for my check in than specified 2pm time and was able to check in anyway and not only that I was also upgraded to a better room with a king size bed. A young guy at the reception was very friendly. Room was comfortable, with a TV and even with a built in adaptor which I was able to use. In the evening around 10pm I discovered that my remote control stopped working so I went downstairs and a nice older gentleman helped me out by providing a new one. Service is super friendly here which I enjoyed and in the rainy weather they provided a bunch of umbrellas downstairs which anyone can use as needed. They have a coffee and tea machine downstairs and they charge 0.50 francs for each drink. Tea selection is limited to only Lipton teas. Location is great, 6 mins away from the train station, many restaurants and grocery stores. I enjoyed my stay here and would consider coming back in the future.

Great value.
Hotel was great. Very convenient and walkable to train station and city center. Room was very basic, clean and comfortable, but a bit small for 3 guests. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Upon check in the lady at the front was friendly and helpful However upon checking out the male person who was there wasn’t the nicest not sure if is cultural or just he wasn’t the nicest at checking me out other than that Amazing location near the train station and bus tour station as well as metro. The only part is that my room had a portable heater I had to turn on and keep me warm instead of an automatic one in the room. The bed was cozy and comfortable and the bathroom was spotless specially the shower was clean which I really appreciate and look at a places where I have stayed.

The hotel was so convenient to the train station, restaurants, and shopping areas. The staff was so helpful and the rooms were small but big enough for the two of us. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Great value

It’s a perfect little room for families or solo travelers like me. I felt safe. The room was small (per American standards; but right size for European standards). The room was clean and amenities (toiletries, towels, TV) were sufficient. Internet access and speeds were great. I had to work a bit and had no trouble using my laptop or phones. It is in a quiet area - so no issues with sleeping or working. No in-room safe deposit box but they have one at front desk. Front desk team were nice and friendly. Cleaning lady was efficient. I have not used their breakfast service but it’s available on-site for a fee. 15-20 mins walk from main railway station called Zurich HB and Bus station called Silquia. I’ll definitely consider it for my next trip if I’m in Zurich ever again. Hotels.com made it easy for me to book.

Nice Basic Hotel in Quiet Location
This is an updated review about the towel situation. I had written earlier about how the only towel left in the room was a ragged small towel placed carefully on the back of the chair. Of course this was just an oversight made by the cleaning person. A quick trip to the front desk resolved the problem. This is a nice hotel close to the train station that is a good value.

Convenient location
A convenient location only a short walk away from all of the historic sites. We found street parking immediately out front over the weekend as the hotel is on a quiet street. No frills but exactly what we needed for a one night stay with access to downtown and a short drive to the airport.

The hotel is centrally located which is the main reason to stay here. The rooms are a little spartan but functional; limited selection of English language channels, no washclothes in bathroom, no in-room safe (though there is a locker at the reception for valuables). The bathroom had a nice bathtub with good water pressure and a window. The breakfast was ok, not as much selection as some places but enough to satisfy. Apparently they have a laundry service where you pay by weight.
