"The Windsor Martinique was such a fantastic and safe location to both Copacabana and Ipanema Sandy and safe beaches. The weather was just perfect. The staff were amazing from the front door keeper to the friendly and polite reception staff and all the breakfast and evening staff were so welcoming and friendly especially Paulo. Breakfast was so delicious with just so much choice. The best cappuccino we can recommend in Rio De Janeiro! We will definitely stay at The marvellous Windsor Martinique...

"The hotel is up the hill away from the madness of the beach and downtown areas, but still a 15 minute walk to the heart of Gavea and a 15 minute cab ride (download Uber or app called "99" before you go!) to Ipanema and Leblon. Everyone at the hotel is friendly and helpful. The breakfast each morning is superb, especially when the monkeys come and join you. The pool is small but the hot tub is great (you have to ask them to heat it up 40 minutes in advance, though, and they shut it down...

"It was what I was looking for with the exception of the last day and the lady that handle the mini bar. Apparently she used to charge me for using the mini bar when I didn’t do it. The lady in the front was nice enough to took care of it. What left me with a bad feeling was when I checkout I left my passport in the room when I went back to get it it was no longer there.
