Weather was very nice, especially since we had 100+ heat index at home. We brought a stand up fan and we were very comfortable. Cabin was clean and well stocked. That said, the property could use some updates - especially the kitchen appliances, which felt quite dated. The TV in the downstairs room wasn’t mounted yet (it looked like a recent addition, so maybe that’s in progress). The place is isolated enough, but at the same time is close to all major attractions in Boone. The cabin needs a little TLC, but has breathtaking views and is very cozy. We enjoyed the area. It’s beautiful! We rented a cabin in Zionville, NC. Pictures of the cabin were great! However, when we arrived several things were amiss. The hot tub was filthy!
