The room was suppose to have a refrigerator and microwave. Checked in and the refrigerator was not working. Went back to office, and it took the person to go thru 3 other rooms to find a refrigerator that was working. One of the rooms didn't have a microwave in it. They changed us to the room where refrigerator worked. Shortly after moving to the new room, we found two dirty washcloths in the bathroom from a previous guest. Later that evening, discovered that there was not a smoke detector in the room. The toilet seat was very loose and about ready to fall off. The entire property was dirty, including the parking lot and walkways.

Carpet needs cleaning, towels were stained and worn, along with the sheets. Tub was dirty. When you turned on the a/c, it smelled like cigarettes. Guest laundry were 2 machines out on the sidewalk and leaking all over the place.

Owners seemed nice but the property looks shabby. Pool and hot tub was still closed in April. I was hoping at least a hot tub would be open since the weather was nice. Hotel could use some sprucing up. Breakfast included had nothing to offer, some bread and not sure where you would even sit to eat as there were no tables.

This property was dirty, and run down. Credit card information was taken with a weird homemade scanner glued to the front desk. "Breakfast available" meant no seating inside, in the climate of Southern Utah? We had to refuse the first room because of dirty plumbing, a hole in the wall, and filthy microwave. I wanted to cancel the whole stay, but had booked with Expedia and didn't know if we could refuse the booking.

We booked this as a place to stay for visiting Zion. It's closer to the eastern Zion entrance, and the visitor center is on the west side, so it does require a bit of a drive, but, at least for us, we found that was also reflected in the cost per night being lower. It's clean, a bit dated, and the beds are OK. So, it's a place to spend the night when visiting the natural wonders that are in the area.
