Appartement très confortable avec vue, situation centrale The apartment is ideally located, completely refurbished in 2008, very well maintained and equipped (see list), including living room with dining area, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, separate kitchen. 2 terraces: south and north, both with extended view, on the Matterhorn in the south and on the Saas valley in the north. Cleanliness and hygiene are of primary importance. We use disinfectant products for all sensitive areas (surfaces, door handles, bathroom, kitchen) and wash towels and sheets at high temperatures. Zermatt is a car-free village, lively in all seasons but not very noisy and all amenities are within walking distance. Out of season, it is possible to rent for less than a week, the minimum is 4 nights. From the beginning, our hosts were great with communications leading up to the trip. I'm sorry we didn't get to meet in person, but Jean-Francois provided all the information we needed, and was responsive to any questions that came up, which were few! The apartment was even better than the pictures, especially the views of the Matterhorn! We just marveled every day that we could look out at it. The apartment was very well equipped, and very comfortable for us. I was traveling with my dad, who has mobility issues, and although we had to navigate a few stairs in the foyer and leading into the building with his mobility scooter, it still was very doable. The apartment location made it really easy for us to walk to shops, restaurants, and the train stations. There was a stop for the free electric bus just half a block away; but we only used that the day we went to the Glacier Paradise - everything else was withing walking and mobility-scooter distance!
