Nice Hotel and Have some good view of Matterhorn. Easy access to station via electric car for about 13 CHF. Breakfast was really good. Would love to stay again.

Amazing cozy hotel.
Awesome hotel only about 200 yards from the town center, so it was convenient. Quiet area too. There is a hill to walk up to the hotel but it didn’t bother anyone in my family. If you’re going skiing it was very convenient to the Sunnegga funicular and the ski rental shop next to it. We loved our room which had a beautiful view of the Matterhorn from the balcony. The whole staff was very friendly. They even had a cool bar/living room off the lobby. And the bowl of oranges in the lobby were absolutely amazing. The breakfast was also very good with tons of options. We want to go back there.

Very nice and quiet area of Zermatt that is less than a 10 minute walk from the train station and 12 minutes from the town center. Rooms are very nice, big and clean. Four single beds, nice big bathroom and same floor as reception. Window view was not great but you don't really go to Zermatt to view things from your window. You walk and hike the area! Breakfast is outstanding with a lot of food choices (fruit, meats, bread, coffee, juice). Staff are quite friendly and always ready to give advice. Would not have any hesitation in booking in this place again.

Hotel Holiday was a great place to stay in Zermatt. You can easily walk to anywhere in the town from the hotel. The Gonergrat lift is very close to the hotel, and makes it easy for skiing. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was an excellent way to start the day. It is also nice that the restaurant is open for dinner and that the food is delicious.

Pros: In a good area for skiiers to access the Sunnega Funicular stations and convenient to downtown (10m walk). Decent breakfast (but same each day with no hot foods.) Cons: they don’t have expectation to supply shampoos, be ready to bring some or go to the market (very strange), our room safe batteries died during our stay and they didn’t service, they don’t have expectation to vacuum the room while cleaning… we stayed a week and had to request vacuuming… no coffee machine, water machine or tea provided in room. Covid practices of restaurant staff not particularly consistent when comes to wearing of masks…

Great stay at this hotel. The main bed (not the pull-out) was quite soft but we swapped with our kids and slept well. The room was clean and quiet.

Mountain cabin style room in zermatt
Nice hotel in Zermatt with a flair of mountain cabin, would recommend staying if you can. A bit pricey but nice 👍

Great staff and stay!
We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful Swiss Alps. Oliver, at the front desk, answered all our questions. He recommended places to eat and things to do. He was very hospitable. He got us checked in a little early and made our stay enjoyable. Roberto waited on us in their restaurant. He was a gracious host and even packed us breakfast since we left early one morning to catch the cable car to Glacier Paradise. We would recommend this quaint hotel and their staff. Thank you for the stay!

Nice boutique hotel with a great view of the Matterhorn. Front staff was very helpful and friendly. She made our welcome great. Service at breakfast was a little lacking. Staff seemed overwhelmed. Room was great. WiFi was quick.

Property is very good and staff is very pleasant and extremely helpful and understanding. It is a short steep uphill walk from public bus stop and shopping area. We took many Taxis, at our old age not an easy walk.

Pleasant Stay
Our expectation was a room with three single beds, but it ended up being two single beds and a pull-out couch - and that pull-out was not very comfortable at all. Otherwise, enjoyed some good food and amazing sights!!

Good price for the room
The room was as advertised. It's not in a very popular location, but within 10 minutes walking distance from the train station. I like how the hotel offers pick up from the train station for those who have heavy suitcases. It's only 5 CHF per person per ride. That's not bad. The location is close to restaurants that are rated well and not too expensive (for Switzerland standards). I would highly recommend this place.

Very Good option at Zermatt
Excellent option in Zermatt. TV cable only for locals (German language 99%). Very gentle people at the front desk. Two sisters alternate shifts. Before they welcomed me upon arrival, I was asked to pay fully in advance rate and local taxes. Room very clean and cozy. Breakfast was very good, though they direct you to certain tables - no free choice. Be cautious of being placed near the desk because you will enjoy having breakast with full of a heavy rock noisy kitchen -mainly silver and kitchenware being dropped once washed out. Taking all in all, very good and I acknowledge the staff and the Hotel Holiday as a one of the best options.

Very good
The room is clean with nice view, breakfast is good and the staff is nice. The only drawback is that it is a bit far away from the train station and you need to walk up a slope.

Lovely place to stay but please let your guests who travel by taxi / privet transport for the first time,about the driving situation in Zermatt! As we wouldn’t have known from abroad!

Ok rooms, plumbing needs to be fixed
For the price our Stay was ok. Shower drains did not go down so that was gross. Told the front desk staff they still didn’t receive it. The in house restaurant is ok, service is slow and in attentive. Breakfast is ok, nothing spectacular.

Nice quiet hotel in Zermatt
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Holiday. The room was clean and quiet. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking at the beautiful view. The breakfast buffet was very delicious with a large variety of foods.
