Located in the private, exclusive waterfront community of Marla Bay, established in the 1920’s, this custom Tahoe style home offers you an unforgettable Lake Tahoe experience. Marla Bay offers one of the few private homeowners’ beaches within walking distance from this home. This 2,600 sq.ft. two story home has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, great room with a fireplace, and spacious kitchen. Upstairs offers an open floor plan that flows from the kitchen through dining room, to large great room with soaring vaulted ceilings and granite rock gas fireplace. The primary bedroom, bathroom, and half bath is also upstairs. Downstairs has 3 guest rooms, guest bathroom and laundry room.

• AMENITIES: 2,600 sq.ft. with 4 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, deck with patio furniture and BBQ (normally put away Oct. 1st for winter), Private Homeowners Beach within walking distance, television with cable, WiFi, fully equipped kitchen with utensils and cookware. Full size washer and dryer. Linens and towels provided. Various board and card games. No garage use is included in the rental. NO HOT TUB!.

• Bedroom Arrangement: #1: Upstairs Bedroom has king bed with private bath with whirlpool tub and separate shower. #2:Guest downstairs bedroom has queen bed. #3:Guest bedroom next to hall bathroom has twin beds. #4: Guest bedroom has a king bed.

• Bathrooms: 2 full bathrooms plus a half bathroom.

• LOCATION: Marla Bay/Zephyr Cove. 30 minutes from Incline, 45 minutes Reno Airport, 15 minutes to the Nevada side of Heavenly Valley, 15 minutes from Heavenly California Lodge, 10 minutes from Round Hill shopping mall which has Safeway, Starbucks, Anytime Fitness, Wells Fargo Bank, Zephyr Cove post office and many restaurants, 10 minutes to Nevada Beach, 10 minutes from Edgewood Golf Course, 5 minutes to Zephyr Cove Beach and Restaurant, 5 minutes from Round Hill Pines Beach, 15 minutes to the Tahoe Rim Trail on Spooner Summit. 15 minutes to Stateline to the Casinos. Subject to weather and traffic conditions. Round Hill Pines and Zephyr Cove Beach both offer boat rentals, jet ski rentals, etc.

• RULES: Must be 25 years to book the stay. NO Smoking or vaping of any kind. NO Pets allowed. NO Weddings or Parties. No sub-leasing. 8 guests maximum. Designated parking in driveway for 2 vehicles in summer and 2 additional vehicles can park between “no parking” signs in the summer only. Winter 2 vehicles in drive way only. NO street parking in all of Marla Bay. Failure to use designated parking spaces can result in $500 County fine. Must display parking pass on dash. Call for discounted rate if only 2 people. 6-night minimum stay in July and August.

NO PARTY CLAUSE: This states that “Failure to comply with the event/party policy (an additional document), will result in the loss of deposit and all tenants and guests will be required to immediately leave the property. PARTIES are defined as any combination of the follow: ANY loud noise and/or excessive drinking that is disruptive to neighboring houses. A party, as defined in this agreement, will result in loss of entire damaged deposit and an immediate eviction from the property with no refund given under any circumstance.”

Wonderful House

We had a fabulous time at this property. The house was comfortable, well designed, and well stocked. We enjoyed playing cards on the deck, and doing several puzzles that were provided. The public beaches nearby were lovely, and Stateline was just a few minutes away. The owner replied quickly to any questions we had.The only negative is that there is no beach on the property this year, at least not when we stayed.

Great Tahoe Trip/Accommodations

We went to Lake Tahoe with our family of 4 and another family of 4 and this home was clean, spacious, and had all the things we needed. We highly recommend this place if you're heading to Tahoe as it is right on the lake with private access and a quick drive to the village. We would definitely stay here again if we go to Tahoe. Communication with the homeowner was quick and easy. Judi even texted me to make sure I got into the home okay as well as letting us know about the thermostats as the temperature was taking a little dive. Great vacation!!

Family Vacation for Snowboarding and Beautiful Zypher Cove.

The whole process was easy and the house was very clean. No complaints. It was our first VRBO and the actual cabin was better in person than the pics. Very cozy and the fireplace was icing on the cake. Great location.

Great spot right by the lake!

We loved our stay in Marla Bay! We were delighted the place is even better than the photos— we loved having our coffee on the balcony with a view of the lake! It’s an amazing location and a short 5 min drive to Zephyr Cove. Would definitely recommend this place!

Property was well kept and in a nice neighborhood. Even though the lake was at full capacity with not much beachfront, we still had access and made use of the lake. It was beautiful and the home is only a short walk from the beach.

Beautiful home with plenty of space!

Felt like home, we could all fit at the table for meals & games. The filtered view of the lake and bird song in the morning were spectacular! The vaulted wood panel ceilings were incredible and the kitchen, bedroom restroom situations were more than adequate. The management was perfect and we would definitely recommend this amazing home. We wish we knew and were disappointed the lake was too full for our fam to access the private beach. Also, the grandkids didn’t like the feathers poking out of the couch. Great family vacation!

Home away from home

We had an amazing time at Lake Tahoe. This house was the perfect home base as it is situated near everything including an amazing private beach a short 2-3min walk down the road. Seriously, the lake is visible from the drive way and is only a short downhill walk. There was more than enough space for 4 adults. The house was incredibly clean, quiet, and cozy. Well stocked kitchen and spacious rooms. The view from the dinning room/patio deck was a wonderful surprise. Judi was extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful when it came to house questions. I can not say enough good things about the overall experience and home. 10/10!

Cozy Thanksgiving Stay

Very beautiful and spacious home. Short drive to the grocery store and casino area. Easy walk to a private beach area that is very nice. Comfy beds and a nice little deck to sit out on. The fireplace in the front room is also very nice. Owner is very attentive and responsive. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at this perfect house. It is exactly as described, well equipped and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the lake through the trees. It's a short walk to a beautiful sandy beach and there's easy access to restaurants and hiking nearby. Beautiful & functional property 5 minute walk from Lake Tahoe

This Marla Bay home is a gem - it is nice & liveable... There is ample living space, & the deck off the dining room is delightful. Lots of amenities included in the home & it's only a 5 minute walk from Lake Tahoe & the private (accessible to guests) beach. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable. We would definitely want to come back to this beautiful spot.

Awesome Place to Stay!

Absolutely loved this place. The pictiures don't do it justice as it seemed even better in person. It was so easy to reserve and all the instructions were well thought out and simple. The location was perfect - close enough to get everywhere and quiet & peaceful enough to chill. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The private beach was a definite plus as we saw other beaches that were way too crowded. Neighbors are friendly and we had no issues or concerns while we stayed. Host was very responsive when I asked about trash day (I just wanted to make sure I got the instructions correct). I would definitely book here again when we make it back to Tahoe!

Loved the house and location

We were in town for a family wedding at Genoa Golf course: Loved the house and location with a short walk to the beach. The house was very clean with a beautiful view of the lake from the upstairs deck to enjoy our morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. We had plenty of room for our group of 6 adults and 2 children. The kitchen was well equipped. It was nice to have a large dining room table and living area that was comfortable for the whole family. . Judi was wonderful from the initial reservation and made sure we had everything we needed once we arrived.

The perfect vacation home

This property was exactly as advertised. We visited during late Spring (after the snow) and it was the perfect location for us. We immediately felt "at home" in this spacious, well appointed and meticulously clean home. Marla Bay is lovely for strolls and feels secluded with its private beach access. The owner promptly answered our questions and even arranged for a late check-out which we immensely appreciated. Will definitely book again should we find ourselves visiting Tahoe in the future.

Clean, beautiful view, great beach

We very much enjoyed our stay in this Marla Bay home. One thing to know is bring everything you will need to cook with you, including coffee, oil, salt and pepper. Otherwise the kitchen has everything you need to make great meals. The beach is absolutely lovely!
