Sleeps 9 persons . The house compromises of 3 bedrooms with air condition, a private pool with 6 metres long and 4 metres wide which has a Jacuzzi and swim jet, BBQ area, 3 bathrooms, 2 spacious kitchen / living /dining rooms, 2 washing machines, a large roof.A coffee machine and free wifi are also available. The house is close to shops, public transport, open market, chemist, banks and more nearby shops.(Village core -Bakery, Banks, Butcher, Pharmacy and doctor, Newsagent, Post Office, Supermarket, Green Groceries, Café's and bars) all within 3 minute walking distance. The house is located 10 minutes away from the Airports and It's just few minute away from the rocky and sandy beaches as 8 min at 4.5 km to St' Thomas Bay and 7 min at 4.3 km to Pretty Bay. Beaches in the north are never more than 30 minutes drive. Local coastal villages offer a huge variety of restaurants. It's just 4 min at 1.9km to the fishing village of Marsaxlokk well known for its fresh fish restaurants. it just 15 minutes away from Golf Course. Description about the house: Ground Floor As you open the front door you face a long corridor which retracts in a large combine kitchen, dining and living room which has a 55inch Smart TV. The dining area includes a six-seater dining table. The kitchen is comprehensively equipped with fridge-freezer, cooker, oven and hob. When you enter the combine kitchen/ dinning /living room you notice the spacious external outside pool area with 6 by 4 meter pool with Jacuzzi which is fully decorated with outside dining facilities as 8 seater dining table, BBQ and deck chairs. The pool ranges from 1m to 1.5m. Other facilities JET SWIM Swim Jets are pump driven systems that also create a "swim against current" by pushing water through nozzles (or "jets"). Hot Tub Outside Jacuzzi This Jacuzzi can be used to help people with osteoporosis, as the buoyancy obtained in a Jacuzzi, along with light exercise performed underwater, can increase mobility and strength. The first bedroom is the main bedroom (king size bed) which has an en-suite shower room and a 42inch TV, the second one (double bed) accommodate 2 persons and the last one (2 single beds) accommodate 2 persons. This property comfortably sleeps 6 people, but accommodates 9 persons . The bedrooms are fully air-conditioned .It has also all around Wi-Fi access. The Second floor This property consists of another combine kitchen/dining and living room which is expansively equipped with fridge freezer, automatic washing machine, cooker, hob, 37 inch TV and a ten seater dining table. A shower room is also included in this floor. One can also use the comfortable sofa as sofa bed which caters another 2 persons. It has also a large roof. About Malta Megaliths, medieval dungeons and Calypso's Cave – The Maltese Islands are positively mythic. The narrow meandering streets of their towns and villages lead to the main square, which is invariably dominated by the huge baroque church. As the countryside is dotted with medieval towers, wayside chapels and the oldest known human structures in the world, the Islands have rightly been described as an open-air museum. The Maltese archipelago lies virtually at the centre of the Mediterranean, 93 km south of Sicily and 288 km north of Africa. The archipelago consists of three islands: Malta, Gozo and Comino with a total population of over 400,000 inhabitants occupying an area of 316 square kilometers. The Hypogeum consists of halls, chambers and passages hewn out of the living rock and covering some 500 square metres. The rock-cut chambers are of diverse shapes and sizes, finished to different standards of workmanship. The complex is grouped in three levels – the upper level (3600-3300 BC), the middle level (3300-3000 BC) and the lower level (3150 -2500 BC). The deepest room in the lower level is 10.6 metres under road surface. The upper level consists of a large hollow with a central passage and burial chambers cut on each side. The middle level consists of various chambers very smoothly finished, which give the impression of built masonry. Comino Situated between Malta and Gozo, the smaller island of Comino is a paradise for snorkelers, divers, windsurfers and ramblers. Only 3.5 square kilometers, Comino is car-free and apart from one hotel, is virtually uninhabited. The island's main attraction is the Blue Lagoon. In summer, this sheltered inlet of shimmering aquamarine water over white sand is very popular with day-trippers. Other beaches on the island include Santa Marija Bay and San Niklaw Bay. Comino is also worth a visit in winter, and is ideal for walkers and photographers. With no urban areas or cars on the island, one can easily smell the scent of wild thyme and other herbs. Overall a nice Villa and Sandra was very helpful. The 4 stars (not 5) was marked down to 3 things. One being a lot of ants outside and inside the property which became a pain with food etc, more control of this needed. Secondly the area is very Maltese local and no restaurants close by, the local fishing town is 20-25 minutes walk but restaurants not great. We ended up driving to Valletta for meals out. Finally there is little or no parking near the Villa so hiring a car which is needed is tough to park anywhere close. The location is a little away from everything, but still very close to a market, cafe, etc. We did not have a car and we used Bolt to get around, and Wolt for restaurant and grocery delivery, and it was perfect. Our reservation was mistakenly made (by me) for only two adults, so only one big bed was prepared and only two towels. Just be sure to be clear on how many people are in your party and let the host know if you prefer sleeping in two beds. Also, they will need to come by to check the pool every 3-4 days and this was communicated to us 15 minutes before they showed up. My recommendation is to be proactive and schedule when they will be coming by so there are no surprises and you do not have to change your vacation plans to accommodate theirs. We also had to reach out to find out arrival instructions. Just be proactive and communicate early with the host. Overall, we enjoyed our time there. ##### Jenny N. It was spotlessly clean as was the pool and surrounding outside areas. There is some building work going on next door but this did not impact our stay in anyway. We did not have any problems with ants but did have an issue with flies one evening. We worked this out to be related to the Organic waste bin which was due for collection the next day. So we moved it away from the table area for the rest of the evening. There are refuse collections most days and Sandra has noted the bins to show what gets collected when. Although we couldn’t find anything for bottles. We had a hire car for getting around the island and the Maltese do not seem to abide by any rules of the road especially at roundabouts. This was obviously not under Sandra control but just feel other visitors need to be aware. There is a Covenience Store about 5 mins walk away they have gluten free items and Lidl is a short drive for everything else. Malta has a fascinating history and is well worth a visit. The house was exactly as described. Everything in the house was of exceptional quality. The house and pool were very clean, and we were greeted with a wonderful welcome basket of bread, fruit, crackers, and wine. Our host, Sandra, was very helpful with advice on what to see and do, and there was a great deal of information in the house about Malta. The beds were great and the very hot water in the shower was glorious. The smart TVs even allowed us to play MP3s from a USB drive. Die Schlafzimmer sind nicht allzu groß aber völlig ausreichend. Die Angaben über die Anzahl von Badezimmern ist etwas geschönt, es gibt tatsächlich 3 Badezimmer, das 3\. Badezimmer kann aber nur durch eines der Schlafzimmer und das daran direkt angeschlossene Badezimmer betreten werden was es eigentlich nicht, oder nur sehr schwer nutzbar macht. War für uns kein Problem aber wir hatten uns das Haus auch wegen der 3 Badezimmer ausgesucht. Das Haus war Pico Bello sauber und es hat alles funktioniert, Sandra war eine freundliche und stets hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Einkaufen in der Nähe ist kein Problem, für den Supermarkt ist ein Auto aber notwendig. Wir können das Haus und Sandra als Gastgeberin sehr empfehlen. ##### Thomas S.
