"What a great place! "
We went for a short break and had the best time. We had looked at the site online, but the beauty is even better in reality. The hotel is beautifully clean and smells lovely. The staff were all very nice. Especially Mate who works on the downstairs bar, the girls who work at breakfast & Mladen who works in the Spa (make sure you get a tour of the Hamam by him, and don't forget to attend the Earth Suana at 4.30...he'll tell you why). We're already looking for next year!

"Might just be the perfect hostel"
The décor comes from another dimension, but the design of the 4 bed dorm rooms is actually very practical, making optimal use of space. Each bed comes with an under-bed drawer which locks with the same key-card that opens the door, so backpacks can all be tucked away, and valuables stowed securely. Each bunk has a light, mirror and electrical outlet inside, as well as two blinds, which can be rolled down across the two openings which give access to the bunk, for complete privacy. Making part of the bunk wall solid means there's something sturdy to which to attach the upper bunk ladder. The toilet's on one side of the room and the shower on the other. Great shower! Really forceful, and soap is provided. Towels are also provided. And breakfast is provided (roll with marmalade, strudel pastry and mini croissant -- one awakens to it in a little bag beside the bed, as if left by elves). In my experience, having a. a comfortable bed (and these beds are), b. soap in the bathroom, and c. breakfast provided in the price, is not that common in Croatia. The location is unbeatable. It is a SHORT walk from where the bus lets you down from the airport, and it is in the HEART of the old town. Out the window you can see it all: the sea, the ruins of the Roman forum, and St. Donat's church. You can remain in your room and be serenaded by a. accordion guy, b. Beatles' guy, c. blues guy, plus the daily clamour of church bells. A bevy of cleaners keep the place spotless.

"I loved this hotel. Location was perfect!"
This hotel was easy to find, even tho it is within the city wall. We parked right outside the gate (pay in machines) and getting our luggage to the hotel was very easy. The roads are stone but smooth--no holes or bumps. The staff was amazing. As soon as they saw us coming they greeted us and insisted on taking our bags. Marina at check-in was the best. She had many wonderful suggestions and was so very friendly. I would stay here again. The rooms were well-decorated, nothing was old, the bathroom was clean, large and had plenty of places to store our items--lots of counter space. I can't think of a bad thing to say about this place, really. Even the breakfast was delicious and made to order, and it came out very fast. Great hotel! I would highly recommend it.

"Good hotel location, Great staff"
We would like to start our review from saying big THANK YOU to such a great people we met. Cleaners, waiters, reception staff was absolutely amazing!!! They did everything that was in their hand to make our stay at Bluesun hotel comfortable. The first night after our arrival was a little nightmare to myself as I’m very light sleeper and every noise would make me awake The bed mattress was so uncomfortable I could feel every spring. First thing in the morning we have requested room change far away from lift and with more comfortable bed. Reception staff did everything to help us to find the best room for us so the other nights were much better. Rooms were cleaned everyday… The food was very good with lots of different choices for breakfast, lunch, dinner… We have used wellness and spa to relax our body. There is pool, Jacuzzi, saunas etc. as there was not many guest in hotel we could enjoy spa facilities even more I would recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for good place to stay as is not far from Zadar, close to Paklenica National Park The hotel is very busy during summer time therefore I would recommend to go there before pick time unless you don’t mind…

"Fantastic hotel for the money"
Staff are fantastic especially Ana who makes you feel very welcome. Once we had booked she emailed us to see if there was anything they could do which was a nice touch. The room was great enough to sleep 5 with two bedrooms and a bathroom. Hired a moped for a day and a half for about £18 which was cheaper in the long run instead of getting tacos

Reception person was helpful with but not able to make calls to help with my train tickets. Restricted call. Place was undergoing renovations. Room was clean but old. We did get a bottled water with two wine glasses as a welcome drink. That was cool. Place just needs upgrade. Walking distance to town but not that close. Though they told us it is a 5mins walk from bus station, we took a taxi because of luggage. Cost was only 30Kuna.

Staff was very helpful and accomodating. Our flight was very early the next morning, so the staff prepared sandwiches and snacks for us to take away in lieu of breakfast.
