I cannot think of a better place to stay in old town Zadar. Apartments was great. Staff was wonderful and stayed up late for us despite our late arrival. The breakfast was free, made to order and fantastic! The apartment/hotel is located in the center of the old town. Main cathedral is visible from the windows. All sites in old town Zadar are within five/eight mins walk.

Musical Sunset
Lovely location in the centre of old town Zadar within easy reach of restaurants and the intriguing sea organ and wonderful sunsets. Beware many restaurants and shops do not take card payment and some do not accept euros (even though they are meant to).

Zadar was Fantastic
The accomodations were fantastic. Place was clean and had plenty of room for our group. Karlo gave a nice description of the city as we walked to our apartment. He did a great job of showing his love for the city. We completely understand his passion for the city after the stay, because Zadar is a great city. Location of property right in old town making walking to everywhere we needed to go a breeze. If we ever go back we'd book here for sure.

Amazing Qwaint hotel
We booked this hotel last minute and could not have been happier. The owner Carlo was a gem. It was in a very very old building which was quaint but the rooms were totally renovated gorgeous great air-conditioning great location and they have their own restaurant. Carlo the owner gave us lots of advice on things to do when we left Zadar. If we returned to the city we would never stay anywhere else but with Carlo.

The check in process was ok, the signs where a bit hard to follow and the availability was limited, so make sure and call the number provided prior to arrival to coordinate the timing. Check in itself was very streamlined and he gave us a mini guided tour and history of the city on the walk to our accommodation. The lodging itself was wonderful, highly recommend traveling in the “off season”, as we avoided the large crowds and had easier access to cultural points of interest. The Sun Salutation and Sea Organ are worth a visit in the dark.

We were not given the room we booked, and when we inquired about this ,were not given any explaination or apology. The room was comfortable and in a great location. No toiletries were provided. Breakfast included only one cup of coffee and charged for refills.

A beautiful apartment in the old town overlooking Anastasia church. Very quiet when we closed up the double set of windows. Karlo was great in showing us the different room choices as they are spread out arong the old town, and explained the best place to park outside the old town.

Old building but very uodated. Apartment. Sketchy going into resudential apartments with laundry hanging etc, but the rio.s were nice. Carlo the receptionist was great. Apartments are scattered about the tow, all qalkable distances from the reception area. Breakfast was mediocre, seevice slow. Sausages were hotdogs and muesli was cornflakes...a disappointment.

Not like the photos.
Our room looked nothing like the photos and was rather small, the sofa bed was not made up (despite the request when booking) and when it was set up there was no space left in the room. Some of the shower fittings were broken too. It was a short distance from the reception, and I guess they have diffrent rooms in diffrent buildings. The view of the church was good.

Beware of the fact all apartments are different!!
If you are looking to book here make sure to go directly to the provider site and specify your room. Each apartment is different and ours was not nearly as nice as explained/showed in the listing.

All was within expectation, other than the air conditioning that did not cope with the heat. It was very hot in Zagreb and the air conditioning worked better in the foyers and corridors on our floor than in the room.

Nice little apartment. Would have liked to have a “how to use” sheet in the apartment for the hot water heater, washer, etc. apt was on other end of city from check in spot but not a far walk, as the entire city is VERY walkable.

Great location for old town, Karlo was very helpful when checking in. The unit is painted cute and has a nice little kitchen. The shower was broken, the mattress on the pullout couch was dirty (burnmarks?), the pillows were stained yellow and there was a very very strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom, it is a very old city and building so not sure if that can be resolved.

The picture is very deceiving. I was given an apartment that I had to walk up two flights of stairs and it was a small living area with a sofa and a very small bathroom and bedroom. To get to the loft bedroom you had to go up ten two foot wide steps with no railing. I am 72 years old and this was not an appropriate living area. The one in the picture looks great. Carlos was fantastic, he located a suite hotel room only 15 minutes away in which I stayed. I did not stay at the Central Apartments and I will not stay there on 5/13. Expedia should refund my money for both stays without me having to deal with it when I return home.

Enchanting Visit
The location was great and the apartment was very clean, modernized and comfortable with a handy kitchen, comfortable couch and a window that opened onto the square. The bed was a little awkward for one of the couple to get in & out of, since one side was so close to the wall and the foot of the bed was so close to the window. There were many steps, but we’re getting used to that in Croatia. (The only solution is to pack LIGHT!) Zadar was one of the most enchanting cities in Croatia especially at night and the location of the apartment made it easy to get to everything. It’s not obvious, but you have to check in at the coffee shop at the cross street before the square.

October in Zadar
A great location In Zadar very central for old town attractions. Lovely to overlook the cathedral and square. Apartment well equipped and comfortable but in need of some TLC, kitchen sink and tap, shower and bathroom extractor fan all in need of some attention! We were made to feel very welcome, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast fine as long as you are a fan of eggs which feature in all the choices but one! Overall I would recommend it, but I do think the apartment needs some attention so that it all works more smoothly.

There are a few details I would have wanted to know about before staying in this property. We arrived very late and it was a challenge to find parking and also to find the hotel in Zadar's winding old city. When we finally reached the check in, we were informed that our apartment was in another building a ten-minute walk away. The friendly gentleman at reception walked with us to let us in and show us the place, but carrying our luggage through town after a long day was not at all what we expected. Our apartment was comfortable and clean, a modern renovation in a old building with historic charm and the old city location was incredible. However, it was smaller than what we expected. We reserved a "duplex" for four which implies two rooms or two levels, but the room we got was essentially a one-room studio with some screens/curtains around the double bed plus a sofa bed in the tiny living area. Also, while the apartment was clean the three flights of stairs we had to climb to reach it were quite dirty and needed a good sweeping. While I know that's not in the hotel's control, I think some guests would be put off by bits of broken glass and cigarette butts.

GREAT LOCATION
Apartment was in a great location. Middle of everything and quiet. BUT it was on the third floor. Apartment staff were very helpful, breakfast was great each day. Bed was in loft and hard to get to for an old man but downstairs sofa bed was comfy. I would place this high on the list of places to stay.

Our room overlooked the church square and was perfectly located in the Old Town. It was a clean, comfortable room and we would like to thank the staff for being so helpful. We were able to take advantage of the Hotels parking which was 25 euros per night .
